Sabb Blab Not only is this the final Sabb editorial of the year, but it’s also going to be the last issue of The Bubble for the foreseeable future. I know, I know – try not to weep too hard. Tissues are available on request.

PRESIDENT president@ warwicksu.com

While Term 3 is obviously full of stresses and strains for students as the duel beasts of exam and dissertation seasons take us all in their grasp, we at the SU want to make sure you stay in the best shape possible so that you can get the most out of your studies. Please do take the time to check out our Feel Good campaign over the coming weeks – there are loads of different events coming up to help you unwind, plus details of study tips and support services. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed, don’t forget that you can also contact our Welfare Officer, Bebe (via welfare@warwicksu.com) or visit the Student Advice Centre in SUHQ. To all those Finalists who’ll be leaving us soon – the other Sabbs and I look forward to seeing you at the Grad Ball! In the meantime: so long, fair Bubble… we hardly knew ye. CAT TURHAN

news in brief The Bread Oven – open Saturdays during exams! Your favourite baguette emporium (sure, we’re calling it an emporium, why not?) will be open on Saturdays during Weeks 3-7 this term to ensure that you’re able to get your lunchtime fix. Pop along between 12pm-3pm to enjoy our usual delicious menu!

Curiositea Summertime Specials Curiositea’s lip-smackingly refreshing summer menu is now available until the end of Term 3 – come along to get your hands on one of our delicious Brainfood Veg Smoothies, a Minty Matcha Latte and much more!

Spring Bank Holiday – Week 6 Monday 25th May is another Bank Holiday weekend, so SUHQ Reception, departments and staff services will be closed throughout the day, reopening as usual on Tuesday 26th. Keep your eyes on the SU website for details of all our food outlet opening times!

Sports Ball waiting list Congrats to everyone who managed to snap up a ticket to this year’s Sports Ball – as predicted, these sold out within a matter of minutes and so we now have a waiting list at SUHQ Reception for anyone who missed out! If you’d like to be added to it, please email your name, student number and contact details to reception@warwicksu. com and you’ll be contacted if a ticket becomes available. Likewise, if you can’t make it along or have a spare to sell, visit Reception and they can refund this for you before selling it on to the next person in line!

FEEL GOOD Although students experience stress and anxiety all year round, summer can be a particularly difficult time on campus. Whether you’re cramming for exams, finishing a dissertation or in the final throes of your thesis, the pressure can often mean that students need more support than usual. Our annual Feel Good campaign aims to take the edge off and help you get the most out of your studies through a series of events, revision tips, referrals to support services and much more. There’s absolutely loads going on from Duck-feeding to UV sports, so why not have a look to see what’s on! Visit www.warwicksu.com/feelgood for all the details.

Join us in the splendour of the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham for our grand Term 3 send-off for Finalists and their guests – tickets cost £49 and tables seat a maximum of 10 people. Let’s face the music – and dance!
