Pond Skimming March 19, 2016 Red Pine Lodge (Canyons Village) Park City Mountain presents the 9th annual Spring Grüv. The Pond Skimming Contest is Park City’s most popular party and is the true indicator that spring has arrived. Contestants must dress in costume (the funkier the better) as they attempt to cross a 100-foot pond on skis or a snowboard.The pond and the excitement happen at mid-mountain just outside Red Pine Lodge. Must be 10 years of age or older to enter. Spectators will need a lift or gondola ticket to watch. Then, hit up the Canyons Village for a free concert. Basin Recreation Fieldhouse Every second Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Open field time for those in the Adaptive (physical, mental or other limitation) populations and their siblings. We will have all types of play going on, bounce houses, bowling, hoola hoops, sports, and much more waiting for your child to come and play. Parents...There is also some time set up for you if you want to get out and grab a bite while we entertain your child. Some local restaurants are offering discounts on food just to lure you out and enjoy some quiet time.
