Bear Necessities

As we transition through the COVID-19 crisis, the health and safety of our students, our team and an award winning dining experience remains a top priority. As universities across the nation begin to open and provide essential dining needs and opportunities, we will continue to create dining to serve your needs. Even during this difficult time, we believe our Five Tenets of Dining remain a foundation to offer strength in uncharted territory: • Freedom to Practice/Develop/Explore • Dining as Community-Building • Access to Quality Food • Availability at a Reasonable Cost • Responsive Engagement

As a commitment to our students we have designed menus with a strong emphasis on authenticity, variety and a focus on cultural awareness and flavors. We know physical distance is a new standard so with invested intentionality to create community, we restructured dining service options across campus, added mobile ordering and adjusted seating arrangements to allow for safe connecting with the WashU community. We move forward and when it comes to taste and experience our Chefs have worked diligently over these last few months to create menus that enhance the grab & go environment while delivering exceptional quality and access at a reasonable price.

“We think you will be pleasantly surprised at all the details we have taken into consideration as you began to explore high quality food, served safely at Washington University.”

We know Washington University Dining Services has a reputation of exceptional service and taste and we mean to continue this in our offerings for fall 2020. This has always been so and will always be our commitment to you.

We follow COVID-19 regulations and guidance and structure our dining operations with the health and safety of our customers and associates in mind. Your dining satisfaction will always be a key measure of our success, and we understand that these changes represent a different way of dining at WU. We appreciate your cooperation, your patience and your understanding during this time, as we continue to meet your dining needs, stay true to our commitments for our students’ academic success and offer the best dining experience.

On behalf of the entire Wash U family, we thank you for dining with us.

Stay safe and stay healthy, Greg Minner Executive Director of Dining & Business Operations
