What Is Waste water Treatment? Waste water is all the water which has been used. It contains various harmful particles which can be harmful if the water is used again. Almost all the wastewater of the world goes to the rivers, seas and other water bodies and damages the marine life of environment greatly. The fisheries are damaged as well, apart from these there is little or no preservation of water at all, at the time when so many people are actually predicting that global shortage is just around the corner. Wastewater has so many pollutants depending upon the purpose for which it has been used. There are two major categories.

Domestic or sanitary wastewater This wastewater is from the residential sources that includes bathing, toilets, sinks and laundry. It can actually contain body wastes and other intestinal disease organisms.

Industrial Wastewater This wastewater is the one which is manufactured by the industries or other commercial enterprises. It contains the rinse waters which actually contain the rinse waters that can contain the plating metals, residual acids and toxic chemicals. Looking at the possibility of global water shortage in few coming years, the concept of waste water treatment has been introduced. It has been working effectively and gradually reaching its objective entirely. Waste water treatment simply refers to the treatment of water with the objective of cleaning the water pollutants partially or entirely so that it’s fit for reuse by a waste water treatment plant. Properly treating the wastewater assures the water quality worldwide. Discharge can be done through the rivers or oceans or through the groundwater which is beneath the ground. A lot of diseases can take place because of discharge of the wastewater which is not been treated properly. Evolution of waste water treatment Waste water has to be treated in a way that it doesn’t harm humans’ health. Even though our planet has the capability to treat the harm caused to it on its own, still there is a limit to everything what we do. So we have to be very careful while treating the waste water. Proper wastewater treatment plant with a proper pressure sand filter should be used. The treatment technology includes biological, physical and chemical methods. All the substances or we can say the residual substances created during the process must be either reused or dealt with properly and in a safe way. The water that gets purified should be discharged either through the surface water or the ground water.
