“Just a few words about how wonderful Amy Pierquet is to work with. I am someone who knows very little about computers, let alone building a website, Amy calmly took control and told us what she thought we should do. When she completed the redesign of our site, the very next week we moved us up from 8th page to 1st page in Google search for hair color and salon. Need I say more? I would recommend her 100% for your web design and updating. She is GREAT!!”. — Amy Foley, New Concepts Salon

“Amy was far and away the most creative internet designer I have worked with, and her knowledge of how to achieve the maximum SEO, as well as integrating important items such as Facebook into my new website, prepares my business to grow today and into the future. We couldn’t be happier with the results.” — Jay Schluter, Willow Creek Flooring

Amy helped our company reinvent our logo to better represent what we do. She was patient with us throughout the whole experience and made it easy for us to make decisions. She was responsive, professional and easy to work with. We are very pleased with the look of our new logo and would recommend her services to anyone needing graphic design work. — Kate Whitson, Best Real Estate Group, Inc. 12

I have found that no matter the size of the project or the expertise needed, Amy provides the quality service I expect. —Tiffany Thom, Madison Magazine

25

Amy is a terrific designer to work with. She is creative, for sure, but creative designers are not uncommon. What makes Amy stand out is her enthusiasm and proactive work ethic. Amy took on a range of projects for our team, including a major redesign of three magazines and several smaller special projects, and all were undertaken with great aplomb (and, it’s worth mentioning, on time and within budget). One of Amy’s strengths both as a designer and as a colleague is being open to trying out a variety of solutions and being able to communicate complicated design principles to other members of my team. Amy is also proactive in exploring new trends in design and staying current with design news. I would recommend Amy at Waterfront Graphic Design to anyone. — Mike Sheahen, Print Project Manager, Heartland Litho

uickly drawing you in with his familiar tone and ease of story telling, Richard Crow takes you on a charming journey to discover how it is that one man’s business and hobby could develop into the singular greatest individual wood collection in the world. Not boastful and always straightforward, the tale of his life mixes with the tale of his life’s work, so that it comes to what may seem the perfect, and predestined, conclusion for both – a collection admired and appreciated by everyone from novice to serious wood collector and even those who merely appreciate a beautiful piece of wood in a piece of furniture, a musical instrument, or any item that can be made of wood.

Our mission is to “create extraordinary banking experiences where everyone prospers.” Extraordinary banking means getting to know each client in order to offer the personalized services they require. We are also committed to supporting projects and organizations that make our communities great places to live, work and raise a family. Our associates volunteer for many events and programs in our communities and sit on the boards of a variety of local foundations, non-pr ofits and educational groups. We are proud to be Monona’s bank and take our role in the communities we serve very seriously. Monona State Bank was founded in 1991 by local business owners and all decisions at our $330 million bank are made locally, not in corporate offices outside of Dane County. While Monona State Bank is a ‘community bank,’ we also compete favorably with the big banks when it comes to the services we offer. Monona State Bank is a full-service bank offering a full line of financial products and services. We focus on creating products and services to make your banking easy. Ari Ottersen, Devil’s Head Race Director, brings a wealth of racing knowledge, talent and coordinates the coaching at Devil’s Head. Ari and fellow coaches are looking forward to the teaching opportunities afforded by the wide variety of terrain and will be setting courses on different runs including “OO” and outer Limits. Introductory Race Program:

Devil’s Head is proud to introduce a new race program designed for 5-12 year olds. Our clinic for first-time racers will include eight hours of coaching. Cost is only $99 for coaching and lift tickets ($169 if you need rentals). See website for days and times.

Devil’s Head Race Program:

Our new race program is open for all ages, although the racer must be able to ride lifts and ski most of the terrain at Devil’s Head. Practices will be offered three days a week - see website for days and times. Cost for this incredible opportunity is only $200 for the season, with a $70 discount for

second member of the family. Discounted season passes are available for Race Team Members. Call 1-800-472-6670 for pricing.

Devil’s Head Outer Limits Adult Race League: A fun

and social NASTAR league for adults 21 and over. The league is open to men and women – skiers and snowboarders – at all levels. Teams can have up to 10 members each (four scoring each night). Teams can get an additional two points if more team members participate. Ari Ottersen and Gavril Hristov will set the course. Please see website for days and times.
