We are delighted to present Martyn Brewster’s first US solo show, after five successful shows at our London gallery. Brewster’s abstract paintings from the last 25 years are strongly linked to the English landscape tradition. This exhibition includes a number of early oil paintings from 1987 to 1998, characterized by thick impasto and deep colors, as well as recent works employing thinner glazes of acrylic paint in a lighter palette.
