I have been dancing since the age of 7 in ballet, jazz/acro, tap, and clogging. Out of all of these the only one that I truly loved and continued to do has been clogging. The faster my feet could move, the happier I was. To this day I still dance all the time. Wether it be in a grocery store and I am focusing more on my steps then where I am going and dance into a pole or just clogging at home. This is what you do if you love clogging. It gets into your soul and you just can't stop. I can't believe that I am now a senior and my time dancing is coming to a close. It seems like yesterday I just started school. I have attended Miller's Creek Christian School, Wilkesboro Elementary, Central Wilkes Middle School and Wilkes Central High School. I have been a competitive swimmer since the age of 8 and a competitive swimmer with my high school team for 4 years. I have been honored to achieve 2 conference championships, four time regional placements, and 4 time all conference team placements. I will be graduating from Wilkes Central High School with honors on June 8th. I plan to attend Wilkes Community College for 2 years and then transfer to Appalachian State University for my Bachelor's degree in Nursing. I would like to, irst of all, thank God for giving me the ability to dance and for all the many blessings he has given me. I want to thank Melonie ir being an amazing teacher and teaching me all that I know and always being there to support me in all I do. A special thanks to Derek for always being supportive and doing whatever we need him to do for our dances...Elf, Elvis, Sailor, you never know what we are going to do to him LOL. A huge thank you to Rachel and Amber for being such an inspiration throughout the years, amazing friends, teachers, and supporters. You guys rock! Thank you Tyler for being an awesome hip hop instructor, I know your dancing will take you far! Thank you to Lisa Mathis for your awesome bedazzling skills with rhinestones I don't know what we would do without you! Thanks to my family for years of support and love. And thank you to my mom for putting up with me and and always supporting me and never giving up on me. I love you! And last, but not least, thank you to my dance team mates. Thank you for all the memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Enjoy it while you can. Psalms 149:3 Let us praise his name with dancing
