SWEET DREAMS
Easter was obviously very different this year. Many eggs were purchased online and plenty of socially distanced Easter egg hunts. However, this has not been the only obstacle to those who work in the chocolate industry this year.

Chocolate is actually the UK’s second largest food and beverage export. The chocolate makers of the UK are collectively upset as Brexit laws have had a harsh impact on the trade of chocolate.
The January 2021 HM Customs and Revenue study, the UK-EU Food and Drink Trade Snapshot, shows that chocolate exports fell 68%, from £41.4 million to just £13 million.
In these unbelievably difficult times for all, support your smaller businesses and shop British.
