Breaking up is hard to do. Separating from a long-term partner or spouse is even harder, unleashing a tsunami of emotions that you may not be prepared for. When you decide to separate for good, you can turn to your lawyer for legal help, no problem. But what about emotional support?
Family lawyer Rita Gupta saw her clients needing emotional support that she as a family lawyer couldn’t give. So, she teamed up with registered therapist Emma Buckell to see if Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) could help.
RTT to the rescue
RTT is recognised as one of the most successful methods for bringing about permanent changes - and remarkably quickly too. RTT focuses on identifying the root of the issues that are hiding in your subconscious. These underlying issues can affect your ability to manage your emotions in challenging situations. As a result, your self-interpretation or beliefs could be dragged down, resulting in negative thoughts. RTT reframes these beliefs into a positive and energised mindset.
Through divorce and beyond
Finding the right help during separation is crucial, as Emma explains:
As a busy family lawyer, Rita sees how some clients need a high level of emotional support that she simply cannot give.
Change yourself, change your life
If you’re feeling swamped by unwanted emotions during your separation, take the time to get to the root of the issues and to address them fully. A combination of an empathetic family lawyer and emotional support from an RTT therapist could make it all easier to deal with, and secure a better outcome.
