Yet another event that’s finally returned after the pandemic is the annual BCN Cleanup. As well as the usual shopping trolleys the volunteers found assorted other items. As seen above left they have a better class of cable thieves on the Walsall Canal - they thought to pack the insulation away tidily in a suitcase before they lobbed it in the cut. Above right and below right: BCN Society and CRT were on hand with boats to take the junk away to the skips. Below left: the editor found himself a new bike!
