In Watts’ time there was also a thriving pottery business, established by G F Watts’ second wife, Mary Watts, in 1901. The building that you are now in was previously a display room for the pottery made on site. Mary Watts also designed the Watts Cemetery Chapel, located just up the road from the Gallery.
