The Seminar Room Tucked away in a secluded corner of Watts Gallery, this room is full of character. With its book-lined walls that house the Gallery’s library collection, it is the perfect space for small meetings of up to 12 people. Limnerslease Limnerslease was the studio and house of G F and Mary Watts. Wishing to escape the smog of London and to be a place of tranquility, the house became a source of inspiration and a place of great productivity. Designed by the great Arts & Crafts architect Sir Ernest George, its artist owners hosted visits from many distinguished guests including Alfred Lord Tennyson, William Gladstone, and Robert Baden-Powell. Watts Studios Located in the east wing of Limnerslease, the Watts Studios offer light and spacious surroundings for entertaining guests. They also offer three galleries for exploring Victorian art including recreating the G F Watts Studio as it was during his lifetime, offering guests the sense that this eminent artist has momentarily left the room. Corporate Members benefit from a 15% discount on venue hire. To arrange an event, please call the Visitor Services Manager on 01483 813 580, or email visitorservices@wattsgallery.org.uk.
