O T N O I S S A P E H T T O G E V IF YOU’ . U O Y R O F S I THE NEA YOU COULD BE THE NEXT BIG THING DO YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR MARK ON THE WORLD? ARE YOU DRIVEN BY THE DESIRE TO SUCCEED? Whether you want to set up your own business or succeed in an existing organisation, the skills and experience you gain at the National Enterprise Academy (NEA) will kick-start your dream career. If you already have a fire in your belly, the NEA simply adds fuel. We can give you a leg-up, a head-start, we can set you on the fast-track to success. But we can’t do any of that without a commitment and passion from you. WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA?

You’ll get to:

Entrepreneurs are not born, they are made.

• Work on real life business challenges

Recognising this, Peter Jones, CBE, leading entrepreneur and one of the stars of TV’s Dragons’ Den, created the National Enterprise Academy to be a catalyst for cultural change. His vision is to provide a breeding ground for British entrepreneurial talent, where bright, ambitious young people could develop and hone their business skills.

• Start your own business (Level 3), or investigate and prepare to start up your own business (Level 2)

IT’S NOT YOUR AVERAGE BUSINESS COURSE The NEA offers two totally unique BTEC courses in “Enterprise and Entrepreneurship”: • Level 2 (equivalent to 4 GCSEs) • Level 3 (equivalent to 2 A Levels) The BTEC courses on offer at the NEA are designed to be different. Our pioneering qualifications are tailored to breed entrepreneurs of the future.

• Attend master classes, workshops, micro business surgeries and networking events • Receive coaching from real business owners • Undertake a personal and professional development programme designed to guide you and support your business aspirations In the classroom our courses aren’t just interesting and engaging but are always relevant to real life business situations. We like to practice what we preach. The Academy students are taught by tutors with business knowledge, who are educationally and vocationally qualified. We also employ Business and Enterprise Managers to bring real businesses into the classroom. WORK EXPERIENCE WITH A DIFFERENCE

SO WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE PARTY?

INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE NOW

Opportunities as good as this don’t come around too often – and when they do, they shouldn’t be wasted. Spaces at the NEA are limited, so we’re very careful about the students we accept. To be a successful applicant, you will need to be:
