Waxing Poetic was founded over 20 years ago by Patti Pagliei, designer and entrepreneur. Early designs were created at her kitchen table, with a commitment to artistry, quality, and meaning that remain the guiding principles of the brand.

With her sister Lizanne, and a small group of likeminded spirits, we’ve built a beloved brand and network of devoted customers who keep inspiring us to do more, give more, and grow more.

MATERIALS & SUSTAINABILITY

Waxing Poetic is a globally conscious brand using production techniques that marry our design concepts with a range of artists and craftsmen that are unique to different cultures. Our handcrafted jewelry is manufactured throughout the world in Indonesia, Thailand, Italy, and the United States. The quality and care given to each piece is unmatched.

All Waxing Poetic pieces are handcrafted utilizing the finest formulas and highest quality materials available including sterling silver, brass, and silver and gold plate. Other materials include leather, silk or cotton cording, semi-precious stones, pearls, crystals, and resin.

We strongly believe in enhancing the well-being of the earth and her resources, striving to utilize recycled silver in up to 50% of the material we process to lessen the impact from mining. We also recycle wax and plaster from the casting process which is later used by ceramic artists.
