17th Annual Nevada Women’s Hall of Fame and 12th Annual Pioneer Award to be hosted by Women's Chamber and WCCNV Legacy Foundation

December 2021 - Las Vegas, Nevada. The Nevada Women’s Chamber of Commerce© and the WCCNV Legacy Foundation© will host the 17th Annual Women’s Hall of Fame (‘WHOF’) that will be held March 25, 2022, venue, sponsors, speakers, master of ceremonies and award presenters will be announced January 14, 2022. This is the first fundraising event of 2022 and all net proceeds will go to the WCCNV Legacy Foundation© scholarships for “At Risk female high school students” as well as our NEW Small Business Grants Program for Women.

The 2022 Top Honoree of the NV WHOF Pioneer Award Inductee is: Barbara Buckley, Esq., Executive Director of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. The Minority Lifetime Achievement inductee is: Dr. Kate Zhong, UNLV Adjunct Professor.

2022 WHOF Women Leadership Inductees are: Anna Billings, General Manager, Retail for Anne Fontaine, Julie Houchins, Senior Director, Accepting for United Way of Southern Nevada, Jan-Ie Low, President/Managing Partner of Golden Catalyst and SATAY Thai Bistro & Bar, Dr. Alexandria Lightning, Nurse Practitioner, Lightning Medical, and Sonia Petkewich, CEO, Founder, Taurean Consulting Group and President of NAWBO. Young Professional Inductee: Wendi Schweigart, Founder, Project Marilyn, Inc. Non-Profit Organization Inductee: Dr. Christina Vela, accepting for St. Jude's Ranch for Children, MPA, CEO.
