Knowledge Action Network The KAN project is a free programme which is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund. It is comprised of a Manchester Metropolitan University led consortium involving three universities- Manchester Metropolitan, the University of Cumbria and the University of Chester. The Project will establish a network of small businesses across sectors in order to promote new relationships, innovation capacity and new connections between Higher Education and industry in the North West. With a growth focused objective, by the end of the programme delegates can anticipate seeing innovation and progress in their respective businesses.

Four hours of individual business coaching to work intensively with your business to assist with creative thinking and strategic planning.
A network of small firms from across the North West will come together to support each other, network and trade. Over 200 businesses will be part of the network; that’s 200 opportunities for your business!
