ARTIST PROFILES Henriette Renie was a French Harpist, Composer, Professor of the Paris Conservatory. She is best known for codifying a method for harp that is still used today. She was a musical prodigy, exceptional teacher who contributed to many students success. Her devotion to her religion, family, friends, and Students continue to influence musicians for decades. Anthony Pirollo, an accomplished cellist, composer, and conductor Tony Pirollo has worked with a wide range of performers from Led Zeppelin to Johnny Mathis and Teddy Pendergrass. For over forty years, Tony has been making priceless connections with leading musicians, all while giving back to the community in offering cello lessons at the Conservatory of Musical Arts, in Audubon, NJ. Dr. Christopher Dallas Feeney, adjunct Professor at George Washington University in Political Science, where he received his Doctorate in International Relations and Comparative Politics. He shares his story of the children of September 11 and their Hope in Spoken word with Harp. Gloria Galante, Professor, Composer, Founder of the Wells School of Music Program now in its 35th year. She is deeply committed to teaching community and using the harp as an instrument of healing. Gloria Galante is inspiring. She is a teaching artist on the prestigious Pennsylvania Council of the Arts. Gloria has performed with Frank Sinatra, Jose Feliciano, Diana Ross, Tyrone Brown, Cecil Bridgewater to name a few. Currently she performs with Odean Pope ensemble, Divine Hand Ensemble, and Denise King. Tonight’s Concert is a tribute and reflection for the children of September 11, 20th year anniversary in original Composition and Art.
