Pump Room Gardens and Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa Come Bowl With Me is a funny and interactive outdoor performance celebrating the popular and accessible sport of Lawn Bowls. You are invited to join Lorna Bowles, Dwaine Hardball and Roger Rinkwell as they coach you through the gentle joys and fierce competition of this much-loved game. Warwick district is excited to host the Lawn Bowls, Para Lawn Bowls and the start and finish of the Cycling Road Race event as part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. In response to this once in a lifetime opportunity, Warwick District Council, with the support of its partners, will showcase and celebrate the incredible arts and heritage venues, artists, and creatives in the area in a month-long CultureFest, with events and activities taking place across Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth and Whitnash.

Cycling Road Race

Route starts and finishes at Myton Fields (next to St Nicholas Park) Warwick. Warwick, Hampton on the Hill and Leamington Spa will provide the picturesque and historic backdrop to the Commonwealth Games Road Races. Approximately 160 cyclists will take part in the men’s and women’s events The route is contested by completing laps of the route up to a final distance of 168km for men (10 laps), and 112km (7 laps) for women. Spectators will have the opportunity to line the full length of the route and cheer the competitors on. birmingham2022.com
