Darker days won’t spoil the fun, so fill your calendar with an enticing programme of seasonal festivals, concerts, events, music and theatre all taking place right on your doorstep. Lots of these are free to attend....all marked with a STAR

25 years/25 objects/25 artists

Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum

Join us as we celebrate 25 years of Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum at the Royal Pump Rooms. The almost 2,800 objects and artworks that have been collected since 1999 have been whittled down to a group of 25 items that reflect the strengths of the collection. 25 artists, including recent winners of the OPEN 2024 have been invited to display and sell artworks that will form part of a pop-up shop within the exhibition space.

Diwali Light switch-on

The Parade, Leamington Spa, 6.30pm to 8pm Diwali is the most important festival of India, and is now widely celebrated in the UK, join us as Leamington takes part with the switch on of the Diwali lights. Remembrance Sunday

Warwick’s much loved Victorian market and light switch-on. Explore the festive market around the town, look out for entertainers delighting the crowds with their stilt walking, fire spinning, juggling and mime skills. Cubbington Christmas Lights

Cubbington, 5pm to 7pm

Yearly Christmas Lights switch on event, with music and carols, stalls and Santa, lights on the tree and lamp posts are turned on. Refreshments from the Queens Head pub.

The Contemporary Choir Christmas Concert

Once again, The Contemporary Choir are set to blow you away with their awe-inspiring performances. Kenilworth Lions Duck Race

Abbey Fields, 11.30am-12.30pm

The Kenilworth Lions Duck Race is back! An unusual ritual takes place starting at the Ford in Kenilworth; With 1500 ducklings launched into the Finham Brook. After a bracing swim of 200 metres the ducks cross the finishing line in the Town’s Abbey Fields.
