Gender Pay Indicators at WDP

20/6/2023

Gender Pay Gap

Women’s hourly rate is lower by 1,44% (mean), 9,49% (median)

The data shows a discrepancy between men and women’s average and median hourly pay rate, in favour of men. The higher proportion of men in the top quartile determines the difference in average and median salaries between genders.

Bonus Pay Gap

Women’s bonus pay is lower by 28,16% (mean), 53,94% (median)

The bonus system is based on a fixed bonus amount and is applied across all employees. Higher salary bands attract a higher bonus amount and therefore, the lower bonus pay figure for women is a reflection of the underrepresentation of women in the top management positions.
