The Icebreaker Session invited to take part in an information rich get to know each other and relaxed networking at the evening prior to the first conference day. Each of the 4 tables featured a short presentation on different topics, which allowed the attendees to partake in informative discussions.

The Challenge Your Peers Session offered 6 different themes, which invited our delegates for discussion. KGaA Dr. Paolo Bavaj analyzed the topic ‘Trend-based Innovation through Foresight Management and Scouting’ and gave insights on the creation of a “New Business Development Group for Breakthrough Innovation and Foresight Management on the basis of relevant megatrends.

CASE STUDY · Dr. Georg Oenbrink, Evonik Industries AG Dr. Georg Oenbrink presented future-compatible innovation-management and the approaches, methods and experiences at Evonik Industries. Hereby he focused on the themes: open innovation, technology scouting and industry development-cooperation, as well as crowd-sourcing and social media based innovation of the Evonik Call for research proposal. All of the topics reflected experiences and results from the company based knowledge-pool.

Dr. Arndt Schlosser engaged the delegates at his Challenge Your Peers Roundtable in discussion about success factors for the implementation of disruptive technologies, in order to inspire new ideas and solutions.
