The Gala 2023 Virtual Auction will close at 11 p.m. this evening.

All proceeds will directly support OCSA’s arts conservatory programs.

Thank you for your continued support of our deserving student artists and the school’s mission to provide an unparalleled arts and academic education. We couldn’t make the magic happen without you!

Welcome Friends!

Thank you for joining us for Gala 2023: Sunset & Vinyl, presented by the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Foundation. In just a few moments, you will be transported through time to experience an evening at an iconic 1970s nightclub. We invite you to fully immerse yourself in this stellar retro-glam experience as you dine on three delectable gourmet courses; participate in our exciting Virtual, Live, and Fund-A-Dream Auctions; and enjoy an incredible production of rock, funk, R&B, and disco hits performed by our exceptional student artists.

As we gather to celebrate this very nostalgic Gala, I find myself thinking back on my favorite OCSA moments, both from this past school year and from years prior. From high-quality performances and exhibitions to stunning events such as this one, it is remarkable just how far our school has come and how each year the creativity of our students, faculty, and staff only grows. With the support of individuals like you, thousands of young artists have been encouraged to pursue their dreams. Tonight, I want to thank YOU for being here in support of our amazing students and their bold, courageous aspirations.

I would like to take a moment to recognize the esteemed members of our Board of Trustees, Foundation Board of Directors, and Emeritus Board, who have guided the development of OCSA throughout our history, dedicated their time, and generously supported our school. I would also like to thank our President’s Circle and Encore members for their continued enthusiasm for and support of OCSA. Last, but certainly not least, I am deeply appreciative of our Gala 2023 Corporate Sponsors, Table Sponsors, Individual Ticket Attendees, and Performance Underwriters for their willingness to give to this year’s event and for making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our passionate students.

Our student performers are now ready to dazzle you. Prepare to get your groove on with us tonight and experience the magic that only OCSA can make possible!

All the best,

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CE O OCSA OCSA OCSA OCSA

HEARTS FOR THE ARTS CAMPAIGN

This annual campaign provides additional support for arts conservatory needs beyond each conservatory’s annual budget. A Hearts for the Arts donation will help to fund special equipment and supplies, performances and eld trips, and arts enrichment opportunities for our talented students.

ARTIST SCHOLAR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

This annual program supports economically disadvantaged students who attend OCSA. Donations not only help to fund the arts conservatory portion of their school day, but also make certain they have access to the full OCSA experience, including yearbooks, technology, and school supplies.

MASTER ARTIST SERIES

This annual program supports high-pro le visiting artists who create meaningful and often life-changing experiences for our student artists. An important instructional strategy at OCSA is to bring master artists and industry leaders to share their gifts, career stories, and expertise with students through residencies, master classes, lectures, and performances. READY TO GET INVOLVED?

To learn more about these important campaigns or give today, please visit www.ocsarts.net/Give . We would love to talk with you about how you can support OCSA’s talented students! Please contact Anna Belmer Jackson, Director of Development, at anna.belmer@ocsarts.net. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! #We Are O C S A
