WORLD CHALLENGE We’re recruiting a Flights & Reservations Co-ordinator to join our busy reservations team

We’re looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to sourcing the most cost effective and suitable flights for our clients. We need a detail orientated, collaborative, and resourceful team player who is ready to get stuck in.

Flights & Reservations Co-ordinator Job Description

Your impact You will be part of an expert in-house team that oversees flight bookings for the UK, Middle East, North America and South Africa business units. You will be integral in navigating all the complexities in the world of aviation (sourcing flights / checking passport details / creating name scripts etc). The way we book flights isn't the same as booking them online or through a travel agent, we use a specialist airline group department to leverage benefits for our customers. Day To Day

Source and book over 400 group and individual flights, working to daily deadlines – this involves committing to flights, creating name scripts, issuing tickets etc. We also need you to plan ahead for upcoming deadlines Administer all flight information to ensure that systems are kept up to date in a timely and accurate manner (confirmed flight bookings, name/date changes, schedule changes, etc.) Communicate information and changes to relevant stakeholders Be the primary channel of contact between World Challenge and the Travelopia flights team.

Operations Duty Support our Operations Centre for two of weeks each year as an ‘Incident Coordinator’. This requires the management of incidents happening overseas, associated administration, and following our standard operating procedures. Operations training will be given.

Who we’re looking for •

A passionate and talented individual who has an understanding of the aviation industry

A detail orientated individual who embraces responsibility in undertaking a task from start to finish

Calm under pressure, multi-tasker and a daily deadline smasher.

An ability to think differently, and the confidence to share your thoughts

It would be beneficial if you had GDS experience (but not essential)
