We’re looking for a Super-Star Travel Writer to join our ambitious marketing team

We’re after a highly skilled, collaborative and resourceful recruit, ready to write killer copy, supporting marketing initiatives to inspire people around the globe.

FACT BOX Role Copywriter / Travel Focused Hours 4 month contract - 37.5 hrs per week Work base High Wycombe & remote.

Reporting to Global Marketing Manager Salary 32,000 GBP (pro rata) Start date May – August 2019

Travel Writer Job Description

We’re embarking on an ambitious 4 month project to create a full suite of sales and marketing collateral for our product ranges. We’ll be building a team of copywriters and designers to get the job done from May-August. Join the team if you’re looking for a fast paced, energetic project driven by a commitment to make our experiences accessible to young people everywhere.

Product Itineraries Invest energy and creativity into making our trip itineraries sing off the page, encapsulating our core brand values and supporting the identity of each of our three product ranges through mindful language choices. We work in over 30 destinations so be prepared to get to know them.

Other sales and marketing collateral Help us breathe life into other aspects of sales and marketing collateral including sales presentations, brochures for schools and parents and our website. We’ll also invite you to help us establish our ambitious goal of becoming known as the leading provider of responsible travel experiences for students by helping write killer copy to promote our initiatives.

Who we’re looking for •

Someone passionate about our product, who has a beautiful and powerful way with words and experience in travel writing. It’s a bonus if you’ve had experience writing for audiences of young people (14-18 years old).

An articulate and persuasive communicator, ready to take initiative and think creatively to solve challenges

A team player prepared to get involved in the detail andget the job done with a flexible approach to working hours, also ready to motivate themselves to work independently

Someone who is pumped by the idea of driving something new that will solve an important problem for the organisation and support our future success

Guidelines around #laptoplifestyle (AKA working remotely) •

While we don’t expect 5 full days a week based in the office. It will be encouraged that at least a portion of the working week be carried out in-house in our offices in High Wycombe, a 30 minute train ride west of London. This will ensure that comm’s are flowing for an effective & efficient workload.
