BETFAIR SUMMER SPECIAL THURSDAY 10TH JUNE
B R I N G O N S U M M E R 2 021
OLLY MURS SATURDAY 14 AUGUST RICK ASTLEY SATURDAY 18 SEPTEMBER TICKETS ON SALE NOW REFUND GUARANTEE
Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to our Betfair Summer Special Afternoon fixture. We are absolutely delighted to welcome you back to Newbury Racecourse following a long and challenging 14 months and I do hope you enjoy your afternoon with us. The team have been busy preparing the site so that we can welcome you back in a safe and COVID-secure environment. We ask you politely to follow all directions from staff or officials to ensure you remain safe. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their generous support of today’s card including, Betfair and the British European Breeders Fund. Better known for their sponsorship of Betfair Super Saturday, one of our key jump fixtures in February, it is fantastic to have their support for today’s flat fixture and our feature race, the Listed Betfair British EBF Stakes (Registered as the Abingdon Stakes). We hope today marks the start of a long and fun summer here at the racecourse and looking ahead to our future fixtures, our popular Gin Thursday evenings will make a return on Thursday 1 July and run across Thursday 8 and Thursday 22 July. We are also looking forward to the return of live music and our Party in the Paddock events, welcoming Olly Murs after racing on Saturday 14 August, and Rick Astley after racing on Saturday 18 September. For all tickets, hospitality enquiries or restaurant bookings, please visit the newburyracecourse.co.uk website and as a reminder, we offer a money back guarantee on all tickets if the event is cancelled as a result of COVID. Thank you for choosing to spend your day with us. I hope you have an enjoyable and profitable afternoon, and that you will be back with us again very soon.
