Subsequently, the excess over 110 in any rating shall be allotted to that horse without limitation to the highest weight to be carried. SBK has generously sponsored this race and will present a memento to the winning owner, in addition SBK will provide the person responsible for the horse judged to be the best turned out with £100. All number cloths to be carried in this race have been sponsored and will carry the name/logo of SBK. The sponsorship payment of £500 will be distributed equally amongst all horses starting in this race in accordance with paragraphs 24 to 27 of the Stakes and Prize Money Code. Entries for this race are accepted on the understanding that owners and trainers may nominate their horses at the declaration stage for entry to THE SPRING MILE HANDICAP (CLASS 2) in the event of their horses being eliminated from this year’s LINCOLN (HERITAGE HANDICAP). SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE MADE REGARDING THE DRAW FOR THIS RACE. FOR DETAILS, PLEASE REFER TO THE BHA’s RACING ADMINISTRATION INTERNET SITE, www2.racingadmin.co.uk. The draw will commence no later than 11.30 a.m. and conclude no later than 1.00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30th. The British Horseracing Authority has modified Rule (F)104 of the Rules of Racing for the purposes of this race. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 9 of the Weights and Handicapping Code a horse must have run three times or more in order to qualify to run in this race.
