This is the Midwest after all. We might as well enjoy and appreciate all of our seasons. When the ice and snow settle in for the Michigan winter and you are looking for a way to warm your soul, Coldwater is a great place to visit. Check out what our community has to offer!

We sure love our festivals here in Coldwater! Come to our classic downtown area on January 22 to celebrate Winterfest with us. Our downtown is just two miles west of I-69, exit 13. Enjoy a winter day with festivities that allow you to celebrate the season. We often see ice sculptures, food vendors, and special sales events from our downtown retailers. Don’t miss it!

Tibbits Opera House always has something interesting going on. On January 22, the same day as Winterfest, they are scheduled to host Absolute Queen: A Queen Tribute Band. Absolute Queen is a live show perfectly replicating the songs, effects, and music of the classic rock band Queen.

For a throwback way to really get you moving, visit the Skate Ranch roller skating rink. They have special themed nights with great music and lighting. You can even rent the whole rink for a birthday party or get together!

Children’s Museum of Branch County is another unique feature of our community. It is a children’s hands-on museum focused on proving an innovative and collaborative environment for discovery.

Lastly, another hidden Coldwater gem is Hidden Pond Horse Rescue. It is a fantastic non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing (and adopting) horses as well as providing an unmatched opportunity for visitors to engage with horses. They are located on a beautiful 78-acre property and offer horseback trail riding, lessons, and opportunities to enjoy nature.
