DAVOS INSIDER 2025:
A Guide For Chief Communications Officers J A N UA R Y 2 0 - 2 4 , 2 0 2 5
Introduction The past four years have seen significant change in the communications environment, including the evolution of the remit and responsibilities of Chief Communications Officers. A new survey by United Minds has revealed that a shifting CEO agenda is driving many of these changes to the communications function. CCOs now need to be
able to speak the language of the P&L and demonstrate return on investment – both for the communications function, and for broader corporate initiatives they advise on.
The World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting is an important opportunity for CCOs to discuss not only the broader macroeconomic and geopolitical issues of the day, but to deepen their understanding of how to help CEOs and leadership teams navigate these
issues.
