Gen Z workers are burnt out. Employee stress levels are on the rise, with the younger generation feeling the greatest impact, according to the Cigna 360 Global Well-Being Survey 2022. It surveyed nearly 12,000 employees across 15 countries – including the UK, Australia and the US – saying that 91% of Gen Z participants between the ages of 18 and 24 feel stressed, compared to 84% on average. e report said that unmanageable stress impacts almost a quarter (23%) of Gen Z-ers, with 98% experiencing symptoms of work burnout. Meanwhile, Millennials between 25 and 34 were not far o behind, with 87% saying they were stressed. BBC
‘Shocking’ gures show police crimes. Roughly one in 100 police o cers in England and Wales faced criminal charges, including for sexual o ences, last year. e “shocking gures” showed that the Police Federation received 1,387 claims for legal support from members facing criminal charges in 2022. e data also suggested that the number of o cers facing criminal charges has “skyrocketed” by 590% since 2012. A spokesperson for police reform campaign group StopWatch said: “We would not be surprised if the gures are an underestimate.” e Observer

Warning on global obesity. e World Obesity Federation has warned that more than half the world’s population will be classed as obese or overweight by 2035 if authorities do not act now. e report says that more than four billion people will be a ected, with rates rising fastest among children, and in low or middle-income countries in Africa and Asia. e organisation forecasts that the cost of obesity will rise to more than $4tn (£3.3tn) annually by 2035. It comes as the demand for obesity drugs continues to skyrocket in the Western world. Reuters
Brexit regrets’ are rising. Young fear AI job hit. Researchers have found that more than half of young people are concerned that arti cial intelligence will take their jobs from them. Some 52% of 18 to 24-year-olds are worried about the impact of the technology on their future job prospects, the survey found. e poll also found that 48% of people believe it is likely that humans will one day lose control of AI systems by it surpassing human capabilities and starting to act against human interests. iNews e key to e ective exercise? e time you choose to work out could make a big di erence to its bene ts. Micro-breaks can improve your mood and productivity. Taking “micro-breaks”, or a break of under 10 minutes, may be one way to alleviate stress and burnout. A recent North Carolina State University study showed that employee’ mood and energy levels improved after a ve-minute break, leading to a higher likelihood that they could set and achieve goals. At 8:30 p.m. the guests were summoned to discover what was hidden behind the legendary name “The Walk of Fame”. As they entered the promenade, they discovered a cultural journey that began with the face of the sophisticated Elizabeth Taylor, ending with the figure of the extravagant Salvador Dalí, without forgetting the enigmatic Marilyn Monroe or the famous painter from Malaga Pablo Picasso. Forming a cast of artists in an impressive mural that is positioned marking the identity of the Casino.
After immortalising the moment with each of the stars, it was the attendees who became the stars of the first night of summer. Each of them received, as a gift, a fan designed and personalised by the renowned artist. Next, they were received with a glass of pink champagne giving way to an exquisite cocktail made up of delicious bites that left no one indifferent.
At 10:00 p.m ., the mysterious surprise that the Casino had reserved for the guests was revealed. A draw for 3 exclusive hand-painted sculptures by Leyton, as well as 3 tasting menus for 2 people at the Casino Marbella Restaurant. After the expectation of the public, an innocent hand took out the ballot for each of the winners. Six were the lucky ones who made their way through the participants to collect their coveted prize.
As a nal touch, the lively show by the two ‘gogo’ dancers managed to raise the public, turning the Casino gardens into a crowded dance oor to the rhythm of Funky that lasted until midnight.
