ٰ ۡ ﴾١ۙ ﴿ ۡ ۡﻟﺤ ۡﻤﺪ ﷲ ٰ رب ۡ ٰﻟﻌﻠﻤ ۡ ﻳﻮم ۡ ﴾ ٰﻣﻠﻚ٢ۙ ﴿ ﻟﺮﺣﻴﻢ ۡ ﴾%٣﴿ ﻟﺪﻳﻦ ﻟﺮﺣﻤﻦ ۡ ﻳﺎك ۡ ۡ ط ﻟ23﴾ ۡﻫﺪ ﻧﺎ ﻟ%٤﴿ ۡ ﻧﺴﺘﻌ ۡ )ﻌﺒﺪ و ﻳﺎك ۡ ﻤﺴ ط67 ﴾٥ۙ ﴿ ﺘﻘﻴﻢ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ﻟﺬﻳﻦ ۡ ۡ ﻤﻐ ﴾٧﴿ ﻀﻮب ﻋﻠ ۡﻴﻬۡﻢ و ﻵﻹ ﻟﻀﺂﻟ )ﻌﻤﺖ ﻋﻠﻴﻬﻢ>= ﻏ ? ﻟ Gratitude is only for God, the Lord of the worlds; the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. [Lord!] It is only You whom we worship and it is only Your help that we seek. Bless us with the guidance of the straight path – the path of those you have blessed, not of those who have earned your wrath, nor of those who have gone astray. (1:1-6) Fātih@ah

(٢٠١:٢) ة ﺣﺴﻨﺔ و ﻗﻨﺎ ﻋﺬ ب ﻟﻨﺎر2S ﻵﻹTU ﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﺣﺴﻨﺔ وTU ﺗﻨﺎ
ٰ ۤرﺑﻨﺎ
Our Lord! Grant us in this world what is good and in the Hereafter what is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire! (2:201)

4. Supplications for Forgiveness
ۡ ^ ۡ ﻛﻤﺎ67 ۡ ﺧﺬﻧﺎۤ ۡن ۡ ﺗﺤﻤﻞ ۡ ۡ رﺑﻨﺎو ﻵﻹO ﻧﺴﻴﻨﺎ ۤ ۡو ۡﺧﻄﺎۡﻧﺎ ً ۡ ۤ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ رﺑﻨﺎ ﻵﻹﺗﺆ ﺣﻤﻠﺘھ ۡ ۡ T_ﻋ ۡ ﻣﻦ ۡ ﻟﺬﻳﻦ وc و ۡﻋﻒ ﻋﻨﺎO رﺑﻨﺎ و ﻵﻹ ﺗﺤﻤﻠﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ﻵﻹ ﻃﺎﻗﺔ ﻟﻨﺎ ٖﺑھOﻗﺒﻠﻨﺎ ۡ ۡ وc ﻟﻨﺎdeﻏ ۡ ﻟﻘﻮم ۡ ٰﻟﻜ ۡ ۡ ﻨﺎﻓﺎﻧfٰﻣﻮﻟ ۡ ۡ T_ﻧﺎﻋ23 ۡ ﻧ ۡﺖcرﺣﻤﻨﺎ ۡ ۡ (٢٨٦:٢) ﻳﻦde Our Lord! Do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us. Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have the strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, have mercy on us. You are our Protector and help us against the disbelievers. (2:286)
ۡ ۤ ۡﻣﺮﻧﺎ وTU ۡ ۡ ﺛﺒﺖ ۡﻗﺪ ﻣﻨﺎ و ۡ ﻟﻨﺎdeﻏ ۡ ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ ۡ ﻓﻨﺎ2iۡ ذﻧﻮﺑﻨﺎ و T_ﻧﺎ ﻋ23ﻧ ۡ ٰ ۡ ﻟﻘﻮم ۡ ۡ (١٤٧:٣) ﻳﻦdeﻟﻜ Our Lord! ۡ ً ﺧﻠﻘﺖ ٰﻫﺬ ۡ ﺳﺒ ٰﺤﻨﻚ ﻓﻘﻨﺎ ﻋﺬ ب ﻟﻨﺎر رﺑﻨﺎ ۤ ﻧﻚ ۡ O ﺑﺎﻃﻶﻹ رﺑﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ﻣﻦ ٰ ۤ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ﺗﺪﺧﻞ ﻟﻨﺎر ۡ ^ ۡ ۡ ﻓﻘﺪ ۡ ﻧﺼﺎر رﺑﻨﺎ ﻧﻨﺎ ﺳﻤﻌﻨﺎ و ﻣﺎ ﻟﻠﻈﻠﻤo ﻳﺘھpS ٍ ﻣﻦ ۡ ٰ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ﻳﻨﺎدي ً ۡ ﻟﻨﺎde ۡﻟﻶﻹﻳﻤﺎن ۡن ٰ ﻣﻨﻮ ۡ ﻓﺎﻏ ذﻧﻮﺑﻨﺎ رﺑﻨﺎr ﺑﺮﺑﻜﻢ ﻓﺎﻣﻨﺎ ﻣﻨﺎدﻳﺎ ٰ ۡ ﻵﻹﺑﺮ ر رﺑﻨﺎ و ٰ ﺗﻨﺎ ﻣﺎ ٰ وﻋﺪﺗﻨﺎ ۡ ۡ ﺳﻴﺎﺗﻨﺎ و ﺗﻮﻓﻨﺎ ﻣﻊ ۡ و رﺳﻠﻚT_ﻋ ﻋﻨﺎdeﻛ ۡ ۡ ٰ ۡ ﻳﻮم ۡ ۡ ﺗﺨﻠﻒ ۡ ﻧﺎpwﺗ (١٩٤-١٩١ :٣) ﻟﻤﻴﻌﺎد ﻧﻚ ﻵﻹo ﻟﻘﻴﻤﺔ و ﻵﻹ om i.c id am rg gh d.o ad wri hm a da l-m ve .a .ja w w ww w w
Our Lord! You have not created [all] this without a purpose. Glory to You! Save us from the torment of the Fire. Our Lord! Indeed, those whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have humiliated them, and never will the unjust find any helpers. Our Lord! Indeed, we have heard a caller calling to faith: “Believe in your Lord,” and we believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and take away from us our evil deeds, and make us die with your loyal people. Our Lord! Fulfill the promises you made with us through Your messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Judgement. Indeed, You never go back on your promise. (3:191-194)
ۡ ۡ ﻟﻨﺎ وdeﻐy ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ ۡ ٰ ۡ ﻟﻨﻜﻮﻧﻦ ﻣﻦ ۡ ﺗﺮﺣﻤﻨﺎ ۡ ۡ و ۡن ۡﻟﻢz ﻇﻠﻤﻨﺎۤ ۡ)ﻔﺴﻨﺎ ﻳﻦ2xﻟﺨ (٢٣:٧) Our Lord! We have been unjust to ourselves. 5. Supplications to have Pious Children

ۡ رب ۡ T~ۡ ﻫﺐ ۡ ﻧﻚO ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﻚ ذرﻳﺔ ﻃﻴﺒﺔ (٣٨:٣) ﺳﻤﻴﻊ ﻟﺪﻋﺂء Lord! Grant me from Yourself a noble child. You are indeed the hearer of supplications. (3:38) (١٠٠ :٣٧)
ْ رب ﻣﻦ ﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤT~ ﻫﺐ
My Lord! Grant me pious children. (37:100) 6. Supplication to have Patience

ۡ ۡ ۤ
ۡ ﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺻ‚? و ﺗﻮﻓﻨﺎ ۡ غ2„ رﺑﻨﺎ (١٢٦:٧) ﻣﺴﻠﻤ Our Lord! Pour out on us patience, and make us die as Muslims. (7:126)

7. Supplication of Trust in God

ۤ
ٰ
ۡ ۡ ﻟﻌﺮش ۡ oﺣﺴ‡† ﷲ … ﻵﻹ ٰﻟھ ﻵﻹﻫﻮ ۡ ﻠﺖ وﻫﻮ رب‰ﻋﻠﻴھ ﺗﻮ (١٢٩:٩) ﻟﻌﻈﻴﻢ God is sufficient for me. There is no deity except God. In Him I trust and He is the Lord of the great Throne. (9:129) ْ

ْ وإﻟﻴﻚ ْ أﻧﺒﻨﺎ ْ ﻠﻨﺎ‰ﻋﻠﻴﻚ ﺗﻮ ْ رﺑﻨﺎ (٤ :٦٠) ? وإﻟﻴﻚ ﻟﻤﺼ om i.c id am rg gh d.o ad wri hm a da l-m ve .a .ja w w ww w w
Lord! In You we have put our trust; to You we turn, and to You we shall return. (60:4)

ْ ﺣﺴﺒﻨﺎ ﷲ ْ (١٧٣ :٣) ﻴﻞŒو)ﻌﻢ ﻟﻮ Sufficient for us is God and He is the best of Supporters. (3:173) 8. Supplication for Diligence in the Prayer

ۡ ﻣﻘﻴﻢ ﻟﺼﻠﻮة و ۡ †Žﺟﻌﻠ ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ وr †•ذرﻳ ۡ ۡ ۡ رب (٤٠:١٤) ﻘﺒﻞ دﻋﺂءy ﻣﻦ O my Lord! Make me one who is diligent in the prayer and my offspring also. Our Lord! And accept my supplication. (14:40) 9. Supplication for Mercy and Help

ً ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۤۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ رب ۡ ۡ T~ۡ ح2” ۡ ﻋﻘﺪة ۡ ۡ T•ۡ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺴﺎ }ﻔﻘﻬﻮ ﻣﺮي و ﺣﻠﻞT~ 2xﺻﺪري و ﻳ ۡ ﻗ ۡﻮ (٢٨-٢٥ :٢٠) T~ O my Lord! Open for me my chest. And ease for me my task. And undo the knot of my tongue so that people may understand my words. (20:25-28)

ً T•ۡ رب ز ۡد (١١٤:٢٠) ﻋﻠﻤﺎ My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. (20:114) 12. Supplication for Childlessness

ً ۡ T•ۡ رب ﻵﻹ ﺗﺬر (٨٩:٢١) د و ﻧﺖ ﺧ ? ٰﻟﻮرﺛ2„ My Lord! Leave me not single [such that I die childless]. And indeed You are the Best of inheritors. (21:89) 13. Supplication against Evil Thoughts

ٰ ﻳﻮب ذ ۡ و ۡ ﻧﺎدي رﺑھ (٨٣:٢١) و ﻧﺖ ۡرﺣﻢ ﻟﺮﺣﻤ2˜† ﻟŽ ﻣﺴT• And remember when Job cried out to His Lord: “I have been afflicted with ill-health and You are the Most Merciful.” (21:83) 16. Supplication of Protection from Hell-Fire

(٦٥ :٢٥) ًﻣﺎ2™ ﺎن‰ ن ﻋﺬ ﺑﻬﺎr ف ﻋﻨﺎ ﻋﺬ ب ﺟﻬﻨﻢ67ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ [
Our Lord! Keep us away from the torment of Hell. Indeed, its torment is ever-clinging. (25:65)

17. Supplication for Comfort from the Family
ٰ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ً ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ ﻣﺎﻣﺎ ة ۡﻋ ٍ و ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻟﻠﻤﺘﻘ2› ﻣﻦ زو ﺟﻨﺎ و ذرﻳﺘﻨﺎ ﻫﺐ ﻟﻨﺎ (٧٤ :٢٥) Our Lord! Bestow on us the [comfort of the] coldness of the eyes from our wives and children, and make us the leaders of the pious. (25:74)

18. Supplication for Forgiveness of Believers
ۡ ۡ ۡ ﺳﺒﻘﻮﻧﺎ ۡ ﻵﻹﺧﻮ ﻧﻨﺎ ۡ TUۡ ﺗﺠﻌﻞ ۡ ﻟﺬﻳﻦ ۡ ۡ ﺑﺎﻵﻹﻳﻤﺎن و ﻵﻹ ۡ ۡ رﺑﻨﺎ ﻗﻠﻮﺑﻨﺎ ﻟﻨﺎ وdeﻏ ً ٌ ۡ ﻣﻨﻮ رﺑﻨﺎ ۤ ﻧﻚ ٌ ۡ رءوف ۡ ﻏﻶﻹ ۡ ٰ ﻟﻠﺬﻳﻦ (١٠ :٥٩) رﺣﻴﻢ Our Lord! Forgive us and also forgive our brethren who accepted faith before us and do not put malice in our hearts for the believers. Our Lord! You are indeed very Compassionate and Merciful. (59:10) 19. Supplication in Want

ۡ T~ ﻟﻤﺎ ﻧﺰﻟﺖT•ۡ رب (٢٤ :٢٨) ? ﻣﻦ ﺧ ٍ? ﻓﻘ My Lord! I am in need of whatever you grant me of good. (28:24)

ۤۡ ۤۡ ۡ ۡ ٰ وT_)ﻌﻤﺖ ﻋ ۡ 2ž† ۡن ۡﺷŽوزﻋ ۡ ۡ †•ﻟ و ﻟﺪي و ۡن ۡﻋﻤﻞT_ﻋ )ﻌﻤﺘﻚ رب ٰ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ً ۡ T•ۡ Ÿ †•ذرﻳ ۡ ﺻﺎﻟﺤﺎ ۡ ۡ T~ۡ ﺗﺮﺿھ و ۡﺻﻠﺢ ﻣﻦ ﻟﻤﺴﻠﻤT• ﺗﺒﺖ ۡﻟﻴﻚ و TU

(١٥ :٤٦) Lord! Take hold of me so that I can express my gratitude to You for the favours You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and to do righteous deeds that will please You. ۡ ^ ۡ ﺳﺒﺤﻦ ٰۡ ۡ ۡ رﺑﻨﺎT~ٰ ۤ ﻧ ۡ و ﻧﺎd¢ﻣ ﻟﻤﻨﻘﻠﺒﻮن ﻟﻨﺎ ٰﻫﺬ و ﻣﺎ ﻛﻨﺎ ﻟھ2wﻟﺬي ﺳ (١٤-١٣ :٤٣) Glory be to Him Who put this [means of transport] to our service. We would never have been able to subject them to our control. And to our Lord shall

ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻓﻮﺿﺖ ْ أﺳﻠﻤﺖ ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ْ ْ أﻣﺮي ْ £¤وﺟ إﻟﻴﻚ وأﻟﺠﺄت ﻇﻬﺮي إﻟﻴﻚ إﻟﻴﻚ و ْ ً ْ ً ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻣﻨﻚ إﻵﻹ ْ ورﻫﺒﺔ إﻟﻴﻚ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ آﻣﻨﺖ إﻟﻴﻚ ﻵﻹ ﻣﻠﺠﺄ وﻵﻹ ﻣﻨﺠﻰ رﻏﺒﺔ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﺑﻜﺘﺎﺑﻚ ﻟﺬي أﻧﺰﻟﺖ وﺑﻨﺒﻴﻚ ﻟﺬي أرﺳﻠﺖ O God! I have consigned myself to You and submitted my affairs to You and rested my back against You while fearing Your might and while moving towards You with fondness. There is no refuge and resting place after running away from You, and if ever there is, then it is with You. Lord! I professed faith in the Book that You have revealed and professed faith in the Prophet whom You have sent as a Messenger.1 2. Supplication for God’s Mercy

I am Your servant, the son of Your male servant and maid servant. My forehead is in Your hands. Your commands are implemented on me. Your decision about me is correct. By means of every name of Yours by which You have called Yourself or revealed in Your Book or taught to any of Your creations or adopted in knowledge specific to You, I request You to make the Qur’ān the season of spring for my heart, the radiance of my chest, the remedy of my sorrow and the solution of my difficulties.3 2. 4. Supplication for Help
ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ‚ﻟﺒﺨﻞ و ْﻟﺠ ﻟﻌﺠﺰ و ﻟﻜﺴﻞ و ن وpﻣﻦ ﻟﻬﻢ و ﻟﺤ أﻋﻮذ ﺑﻚT•ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إ ْ وﺿﻠﻊ ﻟﺪﻳﻦ وﻏﻠﺒﺔ ﻟﺮﺟﺎل O God! I seek refuge with You from sorrow, distress, meekness, laziness, stinginess, cowardice, and from the burden of debt and from the dominance of people.4

have the might and I do not have the might. You know everything and I do not know, and You have knowledge of the unseen. God! If in Your knowledge this action [which I intend to do] is better with regard to my religion, my life and my fate, then destine it for me and make it easy for me and then add blessings to it for me. God! In Your knowledge if this action is evil for me, for my religion and for my fate, then turn it away from me and [God!] whatever is better for me, ordain that for me wherever it is, and then make me satisfied with it.5

6. Supplication when Waking Up
ْ أﺣﻴﺎﻧﺎ ْ ﻟﺤﻤﺪ ﷲ ﻟﺬي ْ ْ ْ ﻌﺪ ﻣﺎ أﻣﺎﺗﻨﺎI وإﻟﻴھ ﻟﻨﺸﻮر Gratitude is for God alone who gave us life after death and one day towards Him shall be the return.6 7. Supplications for Forgiveness

through Your compassion and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are Forgiving and Ever Merciful.7
ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺨﻄﺎﻳﺎ ﻛﻤﺎ †‡ﻏﺴﻞ ﺧﻄﺎﻳﺎي ﺑﻤﺎء ﻟﺜﻠﺞ و ﻟ‚?د وﻧﻖ ﻗﻠ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻟﺜﻮب ْ ﻵﻻﺑﻴﺾ ْ وﺑﺎﻋﺪ ْ ﻳﻨﻘﻰ † وﺑ ﺧﻄﺎﻳﺎي ﻛﻤﺎŽﺑﻴ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﺲ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ق و ﻟﻤﻐﺮب2½ﺑﺎﻋﺪت ﺑ ﻟﻤ

O God! Wash my sins with water of snow and hail and cleanse my heart of sins the way a white cloth is cleansed of dirt and distance me from my sins the way you have distanced the East and the West from one another.8

intentionally. All this is from me. O God! Forgive whatever I have sent forward and whatever I have left behind and whatever I have concealed and whatever I have done openly and that also which You know more than me. It is You Who sends forward and it is You Who relegates backwards and You have power over all things.9 8. Supplication for Embarking on Journey

ْ ْ ْ ﻧ وإﻧﺎ إﻟﻰ رﺑﻨﺎ ﻟﻤﻨﻘﻠﺒﻮنd¢ ﻟﻨﺎ ﻫﺬ وﻣﺎ ﻛﻨﺎ ﻟھ ﻣ2wﺳﺒﺤﺎن ﻟﺬي ﺳ ْ ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إﻧﺎ ْ ﻟﺘﻘﻮى و ْ ﻣﻦ ْﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻣﺎ ﺗﺮﺿﻰ ﻧﺎ ﻫﺬ ﻟ‚? وde ﺳTU ﻧﺴﺄﻟﻚ ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ْ ﻧﺎ ﻫﺬ و ْﻃﻮ ﻋﻨﺎdeﻋﻠﻴﻨﺎ ﺳ ْ ﻫﻮن TU ﻌﺪه ﻟﻠﻬﻢ أﻧﺖ ﻟﺼﺎﺣﺐI ْ ْ TU و ْﻟﺨﻠﻴﻔﺔdeﻟﺴ ْ ﻣﻦ ْ أﻋﻮذ ﺑﻚT•ﻵﻻﻫﻞ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إ ﺂﺑﺔ‰ وdeوﻋﺜﺎء ﻟﺴ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْﻟﻤﺎل وTU ﻤﻨﻘﻠﺐ ﻵﻻﻫﻞ وﺳﻮء ﻟdÂﻟﻤﻨ Glory be to He Who has made this [means of] transport subservient to us otherwise we would not have been able to make it subservient to us, and in indeed we are to return to our Lord. O God! We ask from You piety and virtue in this journey of ours and ask from You [to make us do] deeds which please You. Lord! Make this journey of ours easy for us and shorten its length. O God! ْ TÄﻋﻦ أ † ﷲ ﻋﻨھ أن رﺳﻮل ﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﻴھ وﺳﻠﻢ ﻗﺎلÃﻫﺮﻳﺮة ر ْ ْ ْ ﻟﺪﻧﻴﺎ ﺣ ﻳﺒﻘﻰ ﺛﻠﺚ ﻟﻴﻠﺔ إﻟﻰ ﻟﺴﻤﺎء ٍ ْ ﻞ‰ ﻌﺎﻟﻰyل رﺑﻨﺎ ﺗﺒﺎرك وÅÆﻳ ْ }ﻘﻮل ﻣﻦ2Sﻟﻠﻴﻞ ْﻵﻼ ْ †Žﻳﺴﺄﻟ ْ T•ﻳﺪﻋﻮ ْ ﻓﺄﺳﺘﺠﻴﺐ ﻟھ ﻣﻦ ْ ﻓﺄﻋﻄﻴھ ﻣﻦ ْ ْ ْ ﻟھde ﻓﺄﻏT•deﻳﺴﺘﻐ Abū Hurayrah reports that God’s Messenger said: “Every night, the Almighty directs His attention at our sky when one-third of the night remains, saying: ‘Who is there to supplicate before me that I can respond to him; who is it that can ask from Me so that I grant him; who is it that seeks mercy so that I forgive him.’”11 10. Supplications at Funerals

ْ ْ ًْ ْ ًْ ْ ﻣﻦ ﻟﺪﻧﺲ و ْﺑﺪﻟھ د ًر ﺧ ً? ﻣﻦ د ره و ?ً وزوﺟﺎ ﺧ ﻫﻶﻹ ﺧ ً? ﻣﻦ ْﻫﻠھ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻋﺬه ﻣﻦﻋﺬ ب ْ ﻣﻦ ﻟﻘ‚? و ﻣﻦ ﻋﺬ ب ﻟﻨﺎر زوﺟھ و ْدﺧﻠھ ﻟﺠﻨﺔ و

O Lord! Forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him prosperity and pardon him, and be a good host to him. Broaden his grave and wash him with water and with snow and with hail. Cleanse him of his sins just as a white piece of cloth is cleansed from filth. [O Lord!] Grant him a better house in place of his own house and a better family than his own family and a spouse better than his own and protect him from the punishment of the grave or the Fire.12
ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻧﺎ2Èﺒ ?ﻧﺎ وذŒﺒﻨﺎ وﺻﻐ ?ﻧﺎ وÉ ﻟﺤﻴﻨﺎ وﻣﻴﺘﻨﺎ وﺷﺎﻫﺪﻧﺎ وﻏﺎdeﻏ ْ ْ أﺣﻴﻴﺘھ ﻣﻨﺎ ْ ْ ﻓﺄﺣﻴھ ﻋﻠﻰ ْ ﻵﻺﺳﻶﻹم ْ وﻣﻦ ْ ْ وأﻧﺜﺎﻧﺎ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺗﻮﻓﻴﺘھ ﻣﻨﺎ ْ ﻀﻠﻨﺎy أﺟﺮه وﻵﻹ ْ ﻣﻨﺎ2ﺗﺤ ْ ْ ﻓﺘﻮﻓھ ﻋﻠﻰ ْﻵﻺﻳﻤﺎن ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻵﻹ ﻌﺪهI O Lord! Forgive our living and our dead, those [who are] present [here] and those who are not and forgive our young ones and old ones, our men and our women. Lord! Whoever you give life, give him life such that he [follows] Islam and whoever you give death, let him die on faith. Lord! ْ ْ ﻓﺘﻨﺔ ْ ﻣﻦ ْ ْ وﺣﺒﻞ ﺟﻮ رك ﻓﻘھ ْ ذﻣﺘﻚTU ﻓﻶﻹن ?‚ﻟﻘ ٍ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إن ﻓﻶﻹن ﺑﻦ ْ ْ ْ ْ وأﻧﺖ ْأﻫﻞ ْﻟﻮﻓﺎء و ْﻟﺤﻖ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻟھ و ْرﺣ ْﻤھ إﻧﻚ أﻧﺖdeﻓﺎﻏ وﻋﺬ ب ﻟﻨﺎر ْ ﻟﻐﻔﻮر ﻟﺮﺣﻴﻢ

Lord! Such-and-such a person who is the son of such-and-such a person is in your refuge and in the covenant of your asylum. So, protect him from the trial of the grave and the torment of the Fire. Only You are worthy of the truth and of the fulfillment of your promises. So, O God! Forgive him and have mercy on him. Indeed, you are Forgiving and EverMerciful.14 11. Supplication for Entering and Leaving the Mosque
أﺳﻴﺪ ﻗﺎل ﻗﺎل رﺳﻮل ﷲ ﺻﻠﻰ ﷲ ﻋﻠﻴھ وﺳﻠﻢ إذ دﺧﻞ ٍ ْ TÄﻋﻦ أ ْ ْ ْ ْأﺑﻮ بT~ ﻓﺘﺢ ْ ْ ﻢŒأﺣﺪ ْ ْ ج2S رﺣﻤﺘﻚ وإذ ْ ْ ﻟﻤﺴﺠﺪ ﻓﻠﻴﻘﻞ ﻓﻠﻴﻘﻞ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ْ ْ T•ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إ أﺳﺄﻟﻚ ﻣﻦ ﻓﻀﻠﻚ Abū Usayd stated the God’s Messenger (sws) said: “When anyone among you enters a mosque, he ْ ْ ( ﻟﻠﻬﻢO God! 12. Supplication of Responding to the Ādhān
ْ ً ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ رب ﻫﺬه ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻟﻮﺳﻴﻠﺔ ﻤﺔ آتÉﻟﺪﻋﻮة ﻟﺘﺎﻣﺔ و ﻟﺼﻶﻹة ﻟﻘﺎ ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻣﺤﻤﻮد ﻟﺬي ً ﻌﺜھI ً ْ ﻣﻘﺎﻣﺎ وﻋﺪﺗھ و ﻟﻔﻀﻴﻠﺔ و

O Lord of this complete call and of the prayer which stands as its result! Bless Muh@ammad and grant him a rank of nearness and raise him up on the Day of Judgement in a manner that he earns the praise of the people – something which you had promised him.16 13. Supplication to acknowledge God’s Power
ْ ْ ْ ْ ﻣﻌﻄﻲ ﻟﻤﺎ ْ أﻋﻄﻴﺖ وﻵﻹ ْ ْ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﻵﻹ ﻣﺎﻧﻊ ﻟﻤﺎ ﻣﻨﻌﺖ وﻵﻹ ﻳﻨﻔﻊ ذ ﻟﺠﺪ ﻣﻨﻚ ْ ﻟﺠﺪ O Lord! Whomsoever You have given, no one can stop him [from receiving it], and no one can give the one whom You stop giving, and the greatness and majesty of none can save him from Your grasp.17 15. ْ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺻﻠﻴﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ آل ْإﺑﺮ ﻫﻴﻢ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ وﻋﻠﻰ آل ﻟﻠﻬﻢ ﺻﻞ ﻋﻠﻰ ٍ ٍ ْ ْ TU ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﻛﻤﺎ ﺑﺎرﻛﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ آل ْإﺑﺮ ﻫﻴﻢ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ وﻋﻠﻰ آل وﺑﺎرك ﻋﻠﻰ ٍ ٍ ٌ ﺣﻤﻴﺪ ﻣ ٌ ْﻟﻌﺎﻟﻤ إﻧﻚ ﺠﻴﺪ om i.c id am rg gh d.o ad wri hm a da l-m ve .a .ja w w ww w w
O God! Be merciful to Muh@ammad and his clan the way you have been merciful to Abraham’s clan and bless Muh@ammad and his clan the way you have blessed Abraham’s clan in this whole world. Indeed, You are great and possess all worthy attributes.18 15. A Treasury of Supplications

ْ ْ ْ ﺟﻌﻠﻨﺎ ﻫﺪ ًة ﻣﻬﺘﺪﻳﻦ ﻣﻀﻠﺔ ﻟﻠﻬﻢ زﻳﻨﺎ ﺑﺰﻳﻨﺔ ْﻵﻺﻳﻤﺎن و ٍ

O God! Through the help of Your knowledge of the unknown and Your might over Your Creation give me life till the time You deem it appropriate for me, and give me death when You deem it appropriate for me. O God! And I seek humility towards You in open and in private, and want to be guided to the truth in happiness and in sorrow and request You to make me a moderate person between poverty and affluence and want a blessing which will never end and the contentment of the eyes which will never cease, and seek the courage to be happy at Your decisions and seek the serenity of life after death, and seek from You the fondness of meeting You and the joy of seeing You in a manner that I do not remain in hardships which are harmful and in a trial which leads [a person] astray. O God! Please grant us the grace of faith, and make us such that we ourselves remain among the guided and are a source of providing guidance to others.19
ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ )ﻔﺲ ﻵﻹ وﻣﻦ ﻳﺨﺸﻊ ﻵﻹ ﻗﻠﺐ وﻣﻦ ﻳﻨﻔﻊ ﻵﻹ ﻋﻠﻢ أﻋﻮذ ﺑﻚ ﻣﻦT•ﻟﻠﻬﻢ إ ٍ ٍ ٍ ْ ْ دﻋﻮة ﻵﻹ ْ ﺗﺸﺒﻊ ﻳﺴﺘﺠﺎب ﻟﻬﺎ ٍ ْ وﻣﻦ O God! I seek refuge with You from knowledge which is not beneficial, from the heart which is 19.
