When reading ‘Helen Enox Fine Fabrics’ what thoughts come to mind? A nice fabric store opened by a woman named Helen Enox? Well these thoughts are correct, but it is not just a fabric store! Helen Enox Fine Fabrics has been a fixture in Oklahoma’s metropolitan area for 55 years. It all started with a single picture of a wedding dress in a magazine. Helen’s daughter was getting married. Being an accomplished seamstress herself, set Helen in motion to find the perfect lace for the perfect dress for her daughter’s wedding day. She was searching for fine French Chantilly lace and could not find it anywhere! Helen was sure she was not the only person searching for hidden fabrics in the city. Her, excuse the pun, fabrication of opening a store to end the Where’s Waldo keeping the good fabrics game was solved. Just ask mothers and grandmothers, living in this area in the early 1960’s and getting married, where the fabric for their bridal attire came from. The odds are incredibly high they purchased fabric from Helen’s store or Mrs. Helen herself might have even custom made their veil or dress. This is Kallie Baker Corrington. Her custom dress was inspired by her Miss Oklahoma Rodeo 2012 title, and that is her Miss Rodeo championship belt. She gave the ladies at Helen Enox Fine Fabrics some pictures of a couple of dress styles she pictured her wedding dress would be patterned after. The talented staff then went to work with fabric from the store to create the dress Kallie was envisioning. In memory of her grandmother and grandfather, who had passed away, Kallie had both of their names embroidered in a pocket in her dress. How many times are you planning on getting married? We all know the answer is ‘One time!’ Your wedding day is the culmination of years of dreaming, months of planning, and spending a lot of money! One camera on a tripod is not able to capture the entire day. There is a potential for the camera or memory card to fail-one of the worst things that could happen on a wedding day!
MAKING A QUALITY VIDEO
Unfortunately, when a bride budgets for her wedding, videographers are often left out. We often hear it is because of ‘the added cost.’ It is important to realize making a quality wedding video requires additional time to plan, polish and the expertise to beautifully create. Most of this time is not even on the wedding date. The price also includes the cost of using software, our continuing training and education, insurance and licensing fees and other raw materials. When is the last time you watched a video on Facebook or YouTube? Within the last 5-10 minutes? How fun will it be to share a video of your amazing day, with your family and friends, in no time? The more your video is shared with your audience it will seem to eliminate the ‘added cost.’
DO IT RIGHT
We know couples are excited to watch their custom film immediately! We completely understand. As creative artists we go through every single bit of footage, slave over songs, and torment over different camera angles. The edit process can be as much as 100 plus hours depending on the amount of footage and cameras, audio, and note cards to go through. We want to give you the best film possible and pinky promise to
get it back to you within 3-6 months. We take delicate care in producing the wedding video. It will be worth the wait!
PACKED AND LOADED
Filming a wedding requires a lot fun-sounding equipment like tripods, monopods, and gimbals. Also, some not-so-fun-sounding items like memory cards, batteries, and chargers. And for other situations, we pack essentials like safety pins, scissors, superglue, OTC meds, and a bunch of small stuff that have solved lots of unpredicted nonvideo emergencies!
CLOSE UPS
It is nearly impossible to get any close ups of the bride and groom, the wedding party, and your family with only one camera. We use several sizes: smaller ones for hiding, larger ones for audio, digital cameras for isolation, and video cameras to help with everything! Several cameras on site also allows a quick recovery should an incident arise. We also offer Drone services. There are some misconceptions about Drone video. We can video the venue exteriors, but we can NOT fly over people during a ceremony-this is against the law!
AUDIO
There are 2 camera mics; 3 individual audio recorders for the minister, the groom, and on the podium for speaking; and near any musicians. We try to pair up with the DJ's to ensure we get clear audio at the reception. We know audio is as important as quality video.
VIDEO
Doubling as a graphic designer, I can edit several things like a venue’s lighting and add creative graphics for your personalized video. For receptions I like to www.weddingideasok.com

bring in a little extra light to be used at the First Dances, Toasts, Cake Cutting, Bouquet and Garter toss and the Exit. While we completely understand the mood that dim lighting creates, it also poses significant challenges for video. We do our best to be as unobtrusive as possible. We use tall light stands. This way the light isn’t blinding you in the eyes and it gives enough distance to soften and create beautiful light. Once the main dancing begins, we bring our lights down. Other than that we try to be like ninja’s blending into the surroundings & with the guests while knowing exactly where to be for the money shots. We love being one team on your wedding day by getting to know your other wedding day vendors. Even if it’s as simple as saying, “Hi! We’re the people with the cameras…”, it makes the day run as smooth as silk. We know we are some gooood looking people however you are not going to want a million wedding pictures with us and our equipment in the background and vice versa with the video and photographer. We get a game plan together with the photographer before the wedding to ensure we are both able to film all the fabulous moments.
RELIVE THE DAY
Couples have their wedding video to watch on their anniversaries. It’s also a special way for their kids and future generations to enjoy. They can see the day that began their family! Wouldn’t you love to watch a video of your parent’s or grandparent’s wedding? With a video, versus a photograph, you can relive hearing and seeing your loved ones, you can hear the laughter, remember the hugs, tears and love recorded that special day. Due to copyright laws and history of lawsuits against Videographers using copyrighted music for films placed online, we can’t use any requested copyrighted songs. We do have access to a music library online that we can select from. We will pick the right feel of music for your video.

INSPIRATION Rooted in Oklahoma, we wanted to create a fresh and clean bridal shoot with our native touch. We focused on open land, an airstream, red dirt, with bright and fresh spring colors. Normally the “terms fresh and clean” and “red dirt” aren’t found in the same sentence unless you are from the south. The land and scenery is exquisitely beautiful in Oklahoma and our vendors know how to make it pop. June Sixteenth Events put together bright florals to make the shoot bloom. With fresh carnations and an array of greenery, the set was brought to life. Red Poppy Vintage rentals added two mustard chenille chairs into the mix accompanied by vintage candles and a dainty table. The brides ring from Jewels by Simpson was the talk of all the girls the whole day. It was the perfect mix between modern and vintage. The airstream from Rent My Airstreams speaks for itself! Airstreams are timeless and classic, especially when it has completely been remodeled into a bridal suite with a bright and airy feel. Finally, G St. Creative Agency let the brides beauty shine with natural hair and makeup. To set it off she wore an elegant but simple dress from Bella Rose Bridal.

Wedding at a Glance "Robin and Nick both looked stunning! They loved sharing their perfect day with their friends and family-a great group of fun and energetic people who danced the entire night! These two winery tourists mixed and shared wine from their home states in a single glass uniting their love and value for each other! I loved their personal touches showcasing their two personalities intertwining into an intimate and very romantic ceremony and reception too. Exactly 1000 handmade origami cranes decorated the reception. According to a Japanese legend, which has transcended its own culture, whoever folds 1000 cranes by hand will be granted a wish by the gods of happiness and have eternal good luck. And eternal good luck is exactly what this sweet couple wants for their happily ever after."
