SENIOR ADULTS

Kings & Queens meet for social time, activities, special programs, and lunch. We meet in the Weddington Fellowship Hall, Building B, beside the church office. Visitors are always welcome.

October 20 at 11:30 a.m. Join us for lunch at 701 Main Restaurant (701 West South Main Street, Waxhaw) November 17 at 10:00 a.m. Weddington Fellowship Hall Bingo, lunch, and a special program with Dr. Rob Ridgell November 10 at 10:00 a.m. Weddington Fellowship Hall Bingo, lunch, and program.

The Kings & Queens meet the second Thursday of each month, September through May, in the Weddington Campus Fellowship Hall at 10:00 a.m. for fellowship, games, programs, and lunch. Programs include special music provided by our music directors and volunteers including the Bald Eagles, various impersonators like Elvis, Dean Martin, and Karen Carpenter. There are also programs related to health, safety, spiritual growth, missions, gardening, and the arts.

SENIOR ADULTS | ADULT TRIPS

During the summer, day trips are planned to various venues including Flatrock Playhouse, NarroWay Productions, Pleasant Grove Campground, and others.

Other trips are scheduled during the year, including an annual trip to Myrtle Beach for Christmas shows, a senior adult retreat to The Cove, the Billy Graham Training Center in Black Mountain, N.C., and occasional trips with Christian Tours. Visitors are always welcome!
