Religious / Cultural Events Aradhana Celebrations at Unnati from Sunday… The 46th year 'Aradhana' celebrations of Saints Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa commences on Sunday, 10th Feb 2013 and will go on until 17th Feb 2013 at Unnati Centre, Ganesha Temple Road, NGEF Layout, Sadanandanagar. Every child...a teacher! Kids Campus, the ISO 9001-2008 International play-school at Kalyan Nagar 1st Block (Near Canara Bank) conducted their annual sports day recently at their colorful premises! Tiny tots showed their exuberance to participate in various sport-activities like Running Race, Frog Race, Lemon & Spoon, Obstacle Race etc., apart from many others. The event flagged off by Jaikumar, 5th Don Black belt holder in Taekwondo (who also is an International Gold Medalist and State coach with the Karnataka Taekwondo Association) and the 'rush' began! Egged by enthusiastic parents, each child 'literally' fell over another to reach the 'finish line'! Though, some fell 'head over heels' is races like Obstacle Race…most kids managed to participate with unbridled joy! The highlight of the event was showcasing of 'Getting ready to School' activity! Each child displayed myriad talents (some aping their parents too!) in this activity, that had the audience (spell-bound) in splits!

Betta (covered earlier) in this region, then the route to Seethakal Betta would be quite easy!

Bettaseethakal is a primitive village tucked away in fieldsbetween Dobbspet and Koratagere. As the hill is of moderate height it will not be visible from afar. But as you enter the village, the rocky hill comes into view. It is wide and spread over a large field and as such its real height can not be perceived. If you are driving, you see the hill cut across the field of grass to the base of the hill. The vehicles can be parked in the
