Established in 1975, the Fair Oaks Historical Society & History Center is dedicated to collecting, preserving and presenting the historical record of Fair Oaks. The area we now know as ‘Fair Oaks’ was first developed in 1895 by colonists from Chicago. They applied their skills, energies and capital to the development of the beautiful new territory. Our History Center contains many of the original artifacts and historical documents from this era. The Center is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10am–2pm.
