Spring has Sprung!

As the days grow a little longer and warmer, thoughts turn to the outdoors with fresh new leaves on the trees and flowers sprouting through last Fall’s dead leaves. Places to go, things to do and people to see are also being transitioned from winter schedules to a refreshed Spring atmosphere. Festivals offer more outdoor activities as well as ideas of rebirth, renewal and regrowth. The specific definition of the exact timing of "spring" varies according to local climate, cultures and customs. Whether you celebrate Spring with a round or two of golf, (see page 6) a train ride (see page 8) or head for the races (see page 5) there are plenty of great outdoor ideas in this issue. And of course, don’t forget the usual array of concerts, shows and events listed throughout. There’s just so many ways to “start your engines” in Indiana. So here’s to a great Spring weekend getaway...
