It’s A Spring Surprise

Veering off the main highways (I suggest a guided tour), spend a whole day exploring the Badlands area. Get up close and hike along the trails to view the scenic chalklike rock formations at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park. At Castle Rock Badlands, a narrow dirt road leads to the limestone, chalk and shale castle.

No, I don’t think Kansas is flat or plain - anymore.

In the Discovery Room, the kids can get hands-on experiences like learning how to gently uncover precious fossils without damaging them. They can climb on a giant spider and get their picture taken with jaws from a shark.
