Spring means maple syrup time in Ohio. On your next weekend getaway learn about the process with one of these events.

BURTON - Come and see how it all happened originally at Ma & Pa’s during their annual Maple Syrup Gathering two weekends in March. Ma & Pa’s gather sap with the Horses Maple Madness Tour is scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 4th and 11th. Time both days is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Most maple producers have forgone the traditional metal sap bucket in favor of tubing systems to collect sap from their sugar bush. This trip, Pa will hitch up the horses and take you deep into the woods throuh the ugarbush to collect the sweet stuff and brings it back to the sugar shack to demonstrate how it is all done. Then sample some Maple Coffee and Maple Candy and various other maple treats in the log cabin.
