Come See The Lights!
There is one magical event that stands out among the rest in Upper Sandusky during the holidays. Harrison Smith Park will again host Upper’s Winter Fantasy of Lights daily from December 1-30.
Drive into this 33-acre world of wonder, all while supporting a great cause. For a $10 donation per car, guests can immerse themselves in the beauty of millions of twinkling lights, all in the spirit of giving back to the community.
As you enter Harrison Smith Park, a sense of anticipation fills the air. The path illuminated by a myriad of colorful lights leads you through a winter wonderland, where every tree, bush, and structure is adorned with brilliant lights. The creativity and attention to detail in each of the light displays is truly awe-in-spiring, making it a perfect destination for families, couples, and friends alike.
What makes Upper’s Winter Fantasy of Lights even more special is its charitable mission. This year’s $10 donation request for entry will directly benefit Mohawk Local School District (fully inclusive playground), and Wyandot Community Connections Inc (HUB - outdoor space).
By participating, visitors not only enjoy a magical evening but also contribute to the betterment of the local community, supporting education and community services that make a real difference in the lives of residents.
One of the highlights of this enchanting event is its appeal to visitors of all ages. Children’s faces light up with joy as they marvel at the vibrant displays, and families are creating precious memories against the backdrop of twinkling lights. Couples find romance in the illuminated pathways, and friends gather to share laughter and warmth in the midst of the winter chill.
Postcards will be given to all vehicles starting Monday, December 4 while supplies last. The postcard this year will feature “Santa’s Stable” which is the 2023 featured display.
Gift certificates are available at The First Citizens National Bank in Upper Sandusky, Ohio for $10 each.
The Fantasy of Lights welcomes visitors from 6-9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 6-10 p.m. on weekends. For more information, visit https://www. uppersfantasyoflights.org/.
