In order to discuss the essence of community center and the importance of communication for the modern generation, based on a book named 'Communication and Space', I got to know how to encourage people to communicate in space.
This is the only team work in my third year -- Complex Highrise. I learned the design ideas and methods from teammates. We discussed with each other and pointed out the deficiency of each programs. This course gave us further understanding of the convenience of digital modeling and its importance.
Campus theaters is different from general theatres. It must consider to the use frequency of students and the public . In addition, it must consider the status of theater in campus architecture and the style and whether it goes well with the surrounding.
According to modern people's living environment and the existing problems of living, I studied the suitable habitat model , and family level changes of flexibility. In addition , I paid attention to the public space on the influence of the neighbourhood, and formed a "Vertical Village". Finally , my design was selected for the national student design competition.
This design relates to the historical evolution of the relationship between Shenzhen and Hongkong. With the d e e p e n i n g co m m u n i cat i o n a n d interaction between Shenzhen and Hongkong, inspection buildings have become a necessary communication platform. So it focused on “a chainand started to find the difference , and study a new pass mode and the protection of the environment on the natural environment.
This was a team-work project in my first year of MArch - the Interpretation centre in Chernobyl, Ukranie. At the same time this work is for the entry of InNatur_2 Competition. When designing this project, we mainly focused on the future potential and on the narrative of memorial to the disaster. This interpretation centre acts as a biological archive capable of recording the ecological evolution of its unique context.

Aim: To design a community center for “OCT” in Shenzhen. Dates of execution: 01/06/2010 Type: Course Project
Professor: Zhao Yang
Summary: To solve the neighbourhood relationship, to provide different levels of activity space, to allow the public to experience -- "indoor & outdoor" -- a different experience activities in open space. Self-analysis of the results: The grade of this project is A . I learned some theories from “Communication and Space”. I learned how to attract the public to communicate in this space.

Tower
Aim: To design a high rise building for Gui Miao Xin Cun , Shenzhen. Dates of execution: 23/06/2010 Type: Workshop Professor: Sandy & Marc (PRO,CUHK) Summary: Parameterization thinking , Reseach on special public space In this studio, building facades were seen as opp- ortunities to give building special ways of relatin- g inside and outside. For this purpose, building f- acades were thought of as volumetric spaces that accommodate various ways of relating and exch- anging, similar to skins and membranes in anim- als and plants.

21st Floor Plan
We choose the 14th ,21st and 30th plans as standard plans, which stand for X-games, open air cinema and swimming pool in the outside tower. Connected with the inner one,the exterior terrace provide the restaurants and offices with landscape space. In addition ,useless inner acute-angle space is beautifully replaced by green land and plants, which spread from outside landscape space.

In the view of the first floor plan, it is easy to find that a big restaurant has occupied the three-story high space. The reason why we don’t place a usual lobby there but a restaurant is that ,as all of students in SZU know, Guimiao has won a high popularity among them for a great many cheap but delicious restaurants. Therefore, a large-scale restaurant can ease the shortage of food-provided space, for the tower’s lot is at the end of the food street.

Performance Center Aim: To design a signature peformance center for Shenzhen University. Dates of execution: 10/01/2011 Type: Course Project
Professor: Yang Wenyan
Summary: As for the campus thea- ter, it sets general cinema's functionality, but also considers the surrounding campus buildings' relationship as well as students' studying life. This design is aimed to create an open space, which attracts student activities in public places. In combination with litchi forest landscape, the design forms a imagery--"a Floating Theatre above the Litchi forest" .

Aim: To design a signature passenger terminal buildin- g between ShenZhen and HongKong. Dates of execution: 20/03/2011 Type: Competition Professor: Yu Jia BACKGROUND Shenzhen and Hong Kong have frequent economic, cultural and social communication, with the dream of integration of the two regions. The intimacy between Shenzhen and HongKong is illustrated in the design of a new way to passing the Custom, which will accelerate the gateway traffic and make Xianglian Terminal a modern landmark of Shenzhen and HongKong integration. HeungYuenWai, located in trees, is separated from LianTang only by a strip of water. Compared with other terminal buildings, HeungYuenWai owns an undeveloped and natural environment, which makes it a sharp contrast to the urban outlook of LianTang. HeungYuenWai is unique because of its natural and social environment.

[Green Catalyst] Enhancing Cultural And Spatial Diversity In Coventry
Aim: To design a community learning center for Foleshill in Coventry. Dates of execution: 19/05/2014 Type: Course Project
Professor: Richard Brook, Ulysses Sengupta
Summary: Developed from our critical readings, the conflict of dynamic and static artefacts within the urban environment became the theme, to explore in the city of Coventry, and to initialise simple syntactic rules to form an emergent system to explore the potential of a self-organised infrastructure. It aims to address the issue comprising of cultural factors in Coventry, sustainably recycle the waste industrial context for public interaction, and to adapt to the principle of redevelopment of this city. Finally, it enhance the spirit and wealth in Coventry. And the design is the very specific result of how the context, local culture, programmatic requirements -- allowing the architecture, city and landscape to combine in both form and spatial experience -- creating a whole new civic space for the city.
