Although the legacy as the World’s Oldest Motorcycle Rally is because of the gypsy tour in 1916, the legacy has continued because of the unmatched scenic riding throughout the beautiful State of New Hampshire. Rally in the country, NH opens its doors to riders all year long, whether it’s on two-wheels or during other seasons for fall foliage or a wide variety of winter recreation. Start the week off with the Official Kick-Off to Laconia Motorcycle Week - the Peter Makris

Speaking of charity, there are dozens of rides to participate in throughout the Rally – around the entire State of NH. Another one is the Mae West Memorial Ride for Pets and is held on Monday, June 13th. This ride is hosted by Sick Boy Motorcycles and for the rider/passenger donation- all of which goes to the NH Humane Society- you receive a custom Sick Boy t-shirt and a great time with fellow pet lovers! Show your love for Laconia Motorcycle Week by joining the inaugural event, We Love Motorcycle Week Ride, on Friday June 17th. This 2-hour ride features national and local celebrities such as guests from Sons of Anarchy and the Iron Lilies – all-female motorcycle club guiding bikers through the western part of the State and then returns for a catered lunch, VIP parking and live entertainment a t t h e L a c o n i a R o a dhouse. Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad Laconia Motorcycle Week Train Schedule

Round Trip Train Service Available From Meredith And Lakeport To Weirs Beach And Back The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, based in Meredith & Weirs Beach, NH, is pleased to announce it will once again offer a special train schedule for those attending the 93rd annual Laconia Motorcycle Week scheduled for June 11-19, 2016. Of the four major motorcycle rallies that take place annually in the United States - Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Laconia and Sturgis - Laconia is the only major motorcycle rally to include train service for its attendees. In 2016, event officials are expecting more than 350,000 riders. For those wishing to avoid traffic delays to and from Weirs Beach, round trip train service will be available from Meredith and Lakeport into Weirs Beach and back. Both locations offer free parking for motorcycles, cars and trucks. The cost of round trip tickets from either location to Weirs Beach and back is $15 per person for ages 3 and up which includes parking, while ages 2 and under ride for free. Trains will operate most days during motorcycle week taking visitors from Meredith and Lakeport, NH to Weirs Beach and back per the following 2016 Laconia Motorcycle Week train schedule: SATURDAY & SUNDAY – JUNE 11th & 12th Departures from Meredith to Weirs Beach every hour on the hour from 10:30am to 4:30pm. Departures from Weirs Beach to Meredith every hour on the hour from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Train service will not be available to or from Lakeport on Saturday or Sunday, June 11 & 12, 2016.
