Trendwatching.comoffice Focusing on the concept of teamwork and how parts work together to create a greater entity, Trendwatching. com’s office combines key shapes generated from concept cubes to create functioning spaces that are multifunctional and highly collaborative. The aesthetic is a spatial evolution of the company’s webbased presence, where pops of bright color are grounded by neutrals to create a fun, vibrant atmosphere.

ROOT
A small market focused on local goods and produce, ROOT bridges the gap between the area’s farmers, community gardeners and its end-users. Providing an atmosphere reminiscent of clean air and fresh grass, the space brings rural to the city and offers consumers the opportunity to engage with their food and its providers through vendor workshops.
Workshop
A light, glass-infused interior creates a sense of visibility and truth while providing a modern alternative in an economy oversaturated with rustic, barn-inspired markets.

Apothekesalon Based on the concept of ideal beauty and its presence deep in our chemical makeup, layered on a cellular and molecular level, Apotheke is a modern day apothecary/ salon that dispenses quality, organic products that treat the body and soul. Turn-of-the-century charm meets new and rustic comfort that is blended with refined sophistication. Catering to a clientele within the 40-60 age set, Apotheke’s warm, earthy tones and worn materials create a sense of inviting familiarity with a hint of nostalgia.

Modern day offices require spaces that are not only visually stimulating, but designed to provoke collaboration. By creating or using furniture that is modular or encourages movement and unconventional seating, the office interacts and responds to the creativity in the air and the desire to communicate and think.

site plan
We went for an all-out online push, with a default global outlook...
Derived from the idea of teamwork, where employees function as part of a greater entity, the cube is deconstructed to show the components, or parts, that unite to create its structural makeup. These skeletal, often asymmetric, shapes work together to create a larger geometric area. Glass partitions and wooden slats will work with drywall to define spatial boundaries while maintaining a connected, visually breathable floor plan. Above: Concept Model Below: Sol LeWitt
