Film & TV Guide March 2016 Yorkshire has provided the backdrop to a long list of high profile film and television productions over the years, with its stunning locations helping to make the county one of the most desirable filming destinations in the UK and this is continuing with recent large scale productions choosing Yorkshire. Family Cycling in Yorkshire Guide April 2016 Yorkshire and cycling go hand in hand. The diverse, natural landscape is designed for cyclists and the county is widely regarded as one of the spiritual heartlands of UK cycling. In 2016 alongside the Tour de Yorkshire which takes place 29th April – 1st May 2016, we will be producing a targeted campaign to help promote family friendly cycling in Yorkshire to enable our member businesses who cater for the cycling community to communicate with this sector of the market. You might be an accommodation provider who welcomes cyclists, a café or restaurant, a bike and cycling products retailer or any other Yorkshire business who welcomes customers arriving on 2 wheels. Your business and its location will be shown on our map to enable cyclists to find you. Great Yorkshire Show 12 – 14 July 2016 The Great Yorkshire Show takes place annually on the Great Yorkshire Show Ground in Harrogate. It is the country’s leading agricultural event attracting over 135,000 visitors each year. The 158th Great Yorkshire Show runs from Tuesday 12 - Thursday 14 July 2016. The Welcome to Yorkshire stand is one of the most prominent and visually impressive stands at the show, with a plot in 2015 of 32m x 34m.
