Foreword
Wellington College Easter Revision Course has now been running successfully for almost three decades and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to fine tune and develop their examination technique in the lead up to public examinations.
Whether they are studying GCSE or A-Level , expert teachers will guide them through their final process of learning and preparation ensuring that value is added and that all students receive bespoke advice and feedback appropriate for their ability and goals. It also gives them a chance to learn in an environment that is wholly conducive to learning whether they are day or residential, where our aim will always be to enable them to achieve their very best.
I look forward to welcoming you on to the course.
Kind regards,
Matt Oakman (Easter Revision Course Director)

Programme Overview
All teachers are hand-picked by our Course Director to deliver targeted revision with a key focus on examination practice, improving technique and exam skills offering continuous feedback throughout the course.
With a large emphasis on study skills, students will have an average of 5-6 hours’ study per day. Classes are kept small with approximately 10 students to maximise individual tuition and personal development with their teacher.
In addition to the core lessons, GCSE and A-Level students will attend a study skills workshop by Elevate Education. Elevate’s workshops are designed to achieve behavioural change in students: ‘It isn’t enough that students simply understand what they need to do in their study: the challenge in any study skills programme is getting students to use and apply the skills they learn.’
Parents are welcome to attend a parent specific workshop on the last day of the course which focuses on empowering them to reinforce study skills at home.
At the end of the course every student will receive a personal report highlighting areas of progression, improvement and what to focus on next.

Activities (Residential only)
We understand that an active body is an active mind, so it is imperative that students have time to relax and unwind after lessons.
With a Health & Fitness Club on site boasting a newly refurbished gym (over 16s only), astro pitches and an indoor swimming pool along with acres of woodland, students can either make the most of the sports facilities or take a relaxing walk around the stunning grounds. As well as sports, students will be able to enjoy other activities such as movie nights.

FAQs
Who is eligible to attend the course?
We welcome all students from any UK or international school who are taking the GCSE/IGCSE or A-Level subjects offered.
(Please note that each course is subject/ exam board specific, so please make sure you have checked these details prior to booking on the course).
Are students in their first year of study able to attend?
We ask that all students are in their final year of study and will be sitting their exams in 2023.
Do you cover foundation level for GCSE/IGCSE?
Regrettably we only cover Higher Level papers.
With 1 GCSE subject courses do these take place in the morning or afternoon? This is dependent on the final timetable which is set 2 weeks prior to the exam. As students learn better at different times of day, we try to vary the timetable. This may mean for students only revising 1 GCSE subject, the course may be taught over alternating mornings and afternoons.
Do you cover AS exams?
Unfortunately we don’t cover AS exams. The A-Level course will cover the 2 year linear A-Level.
Can you attend for single days?
To maximise learning for all students and to enable the teachers to offer in depth feedback, we require students to attend the full course.
Will parents receive feedback from the teachers?
As well as ongoing feedback between students and teachers throughout the course, each student will receive a detailed report which will be sent out on the completion of the week.
Do non-residential part-time students (1 GCSE subject only) have meals included? As 1 subject students are only on site part of the day (ie: morning or afternoon), meals are not included.
Do you accept childcare vouchers? No, unfortunately we cannot accept childcare vouchers as payment for this course.
