WELL READ Magazine November 2024

November is here and I’m excited to share! We kick it off with an essay from author, Stephanie Edwards, that’s the story behind Authors For Appalachia – an online auction going on right now to help raise money for people who were devastated by Hurricane Helene. Readers and authors you don’t want to miss it and you can find all of the information on how to join the party in this month’s issue. After you join the online event, come back to WELL READ because Robert Gwaltney & Jeffrey Dale Lofton introduce Shastri Akella, Ann Hite takes us on A wild Hike In The Woods, and Claire Hamner Matturro gives us another great review. We get to know Alison Ragsdale thanks to Annie McDonnell and thirty interesting Proust-style questions, Dawn Major talks about the The Lost Art of Letter Writing, and we have a very special LAGNIAPPE this month by author, Dianne C. Braley. As always, Ray Atkins ends the issue with another fun and thought-provoking essay.

Congratulations to November’s authors and poets! Julie Green, DeLane Phillips, Shayla Dodge, Edilson Afonso Ferreira, Chris Wood, Jasna Gugić, and Fhen M. WELL DONE!

As always there are lots of books to add to your reading list and authors to follow. Enjoy & Happy Reading!
