Why Skating Is Better Than Surfing
Do you surf? You really shouldn’t because you can skate instead. I will tell you why you should skate not surf. Have you ever seen the price of a skateboards compared to a surfboard? You could have spent hundreds of dollars on a new expensive surfboard when you could have brought a penny board, skateboard and a long board still with money to spare. Three for the price of one. Talk about a bargain. Did you know that more people get injured on surf boards than skate boards, in fact on a surfboard you have a chance of drowning – who wants that? Would you rather fall off your skateboard and graze your knee or fall off a surfboard and drown? You can wear protective gear on a skateboard like kneepads and a helmet, but on a surfboard you can’t else you would drown. Did you spend hundreds of dollars on surf lessons? I didn’t I learnt to ride a skateboard for free in a few minutes. It is that easy to learn to ride a skateboard, but not that easy to learn to surf. So that’s why you should ride a skateboard instead of surfing.

Poor Jake Simpson
Jake Simpson was only eleven when he lost his loving and caring parents Bill and Marge. He said it was the most devastating thing that could ever happen to an only child. Jake was sent to his local orphanage Pelican Creek Orphanage. He got into a lot of trouble there because he didn’t have any friends. When Jake turned thirteen a very nice skater adopted him. It took him a while to get used to his knew parents Mikey and his fiancée Mary. They taught Jake how to skate…
Ten Years Later…
‘’Woohoo’’ Jake is a pro skater; he has won seven competitions and runs a skating business with his beloved parents. He is at University training to be a teacher and is also studying Architecture. He is happily living with his wife Sarah and his loving son Sam.
