The charity is hugely grateful to Wendover Parish Council for its support in enabling this to happen and being so supportive.
Originally planted in 2014, each of the 60 trees in the orchard represents a member of the village community who fought and died during WW1. Now well established, the orchard is already a beautiful, calm and peaceful space for remembrance, and one which Rennie Grove hopes will be further enhanced with its planting of a number of native species trees and sensory hedging. A bench has also been installed to allow visitors to sit and reflect and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Tracey Hancock, Director of Fundraising, said: “We are so pleased that our wonderful community can walk and visit somewhere special again in memory of loved ones we’ve been privileged to care for. Writing a Will and keeping it up to date ensures your loved ones will be looked after when you’re no longer here to do it. Without a Will, loved ones will not automatically receive what you want to leave to them.
