Installation of roof panels

Roofing panels

Roofing panels can be classified into different types according to the installation method, the specific classification mainly depends on the connection method of the panels and the installation structure. The following are some of the common ways of installing roofing panels:

Overlap roofing panels: Overlap roofing panels are connected by overlapping one side of the panel over the other. Lap joints and sealing materials are often used to ensure waterproofing. Overlap roofing panels are used in buildings that require a high degree of waterproofing.

Snap Roof Panels: Snap roof panels use a snap connection with clips on the edges of the panels that allow the panels to be interlocked with each other. This type of installation is usually easier to install and helps to improve the overall airtightness of the roof.

Bolted Roof Panels: Bolted roof panels are bolted together. This method is usually used in buildings that require high structural strength, such as large-span factories or warehouses.

Welded Roof Panels: Welded roof panels are joined together by welding. This method is often used in buildings that require increased structural strength and waterproofing.

Clamped Roof Panels: Clamped roof panels are held together by the edges of the panels to form a tight joint. This method is used in buildings that require high wind pressure resistance.

Different installation methods are suitable for different building needs, and the selection of the appropriate roof panel installation method needs to take into account the structural design of the building, the use of the environment and the requirements for waterproofing, structural strength and other performance.
