STEM MBA at Texas Tech is the first graduate program of its kind in the state of Texas, designed to give STEM students the business analytical skills necessary to be successful in management and leadership roles.

Technically trained STEM students are seldom armed with the business skills needed to compete in the job market. To address this need, the Rawls College of Business created a one-year MBA program designed to complement a STEM student’s technical background.

The focus in the classroom is on general business; the difference lies in the emphasis on STEM applications, along with elective classes geared specifically toward STEM disciplines.

Whether you are looking at a future in medicine, engineering, science, or technology, a STEM MBA can give you the competitive advantage you need to change your trajectory.

Why a STEM MBA?

• Gain the business knowlege you need as a STEM student, to give you a competitive edge in the job market.

• Get exclusive access to Rawls Career Management Center & job fairs; learn why our job placement rate is above the national average.

• Be part of the growing Red Raider Network!

Class Schedule:

All classes are offered in a condensed format spanning either 5 or 8 weeks. This allows students to focus on two classes at a time & finish classwork by 2pm.
