WANYU CHEN

Wan-Yu Chen is a developing architect currently advancing her graduate studies as an M. Arch 2 student at Southern California Institute of Architecture. Wan-Yu sees her time at SCI-Arc as the ideal opportunity to develop her career both as a passionate individual that believes in the discipline of architecture while having the chance to influence the built environment.

Born in Taiwan, she earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Tamkang University. She received the IEAGD (International Exhibition of Architecture Graduation Design) for her thesis design. Before joining SCI-Arc, she worked as a Junior Architect in the firm’s design department for a Beijing-based architecture firm, TAO (Trace Architecture Office), and an architecture and landscape firm fa+p (fieldscape architects+planners) in Taipei.
