Unbroken connection with Lake Washington…transparent walls for greatroom pageantry at water’s edge. It’s all modernity: art walls, center dining for 14 to 18, glass, avant-garde design. Owner Ste. on view! Superb 90’ level frontage, substantial private dock, float plane moorage; plus 1/8 interest 2nd dock/beach. High expectations answered: angular ceils; the kitchen hub command arena; action-movie PULSE-O-VISION. Bonus extraordinaire up... frolicking core-room/media down. The beach!

A home serves its occupants in so many different capacities. Warmth, livability, utilization of convenience… amenities that fit the people who are the residents. Our Meadow Lane home wears many hats… its appeal is open to a broad variety of tastes. Of course, waterfront is one of the ultimate features of luxury… generally providing a world of surf and turf enjoyment. The inhabitants provide the warmness but the physical surrounds certainly add to the power of hospitality and ardor. Floor plans are generally adaptable; sometime a tweak or two can be beneficial. 16 Meadow Lane has a healthy, robust personality catering to those of all interests. Fun, frolic and festivities. A private Lane with a historical sense of many yesterdays… poised for today! 8

MERCER ISLAND, a city in King County, Washington,

United States. The island is centered in Lake Washington and sited between downtown Seattle and the burgeoning growth East of the lake. The population of 22,720 is a 2013 Estimate from Office of Financial Management.

Located in the Seattle Metropolitan Area, it is the most populated island in a lake within the United States. The ZIP code 98040 is unique to Mercer Island. The City of Mercer Island was incorporated from East Seattle on 5 July 1960 and composed of all the island less the 70 acre (280,000 m²) business district. Just over one month later, 9 August, the Town of Mercer Island developed from that business district. The two municipalities merged as the City of Mercer Island in 1970. Their School District overviews six common schools on the island: three primary schools (Lakeridge Elementary, Island Park Elementary and West Mercer Elementary); one Middle school (Islander Middle School); one High school (Mercer Island High School). In addition, one alternative secondary school (Crest Learning Center). Mercer Island is also home to the St. Monica School(K-8), the French American School of Puget Sound (P-8), and the Northwest Yeshiva High School (9-12). MERCER ISLAND: NORTH END

MERCER ISLAND PARKS Mercer Island has 475 acres of parks and open spaces. Mercer Island Parks are open for year-round enjoyment and are the perfect place for a variety of activities like: baseball, soccer, volleyball, having a picnic or taking a walk with the family. Pioneer Park is our largest park, with 113 acres of beautiful forest and 6.6 miles of trails. The Park has been kept in a natural state so that Island residents and other visitors can easily “get out in the woods through the course of their daily lives. Roads divide the park into three distinct quadrants. Located on the northeast end of Mercer Island, Luther Burbank Park features spectacular views of Lake Washington, and has facilities for several water-based activities including swimming, boating and fishing. It is also a large park of 77 acres, and portions of its waterfront and wetlands foster a variety of wildlife such as 155 species of birds, beaver, muskrats and rabbits There are many smaller parks, beach parks and street ends, providing an excellent opportunity for waterfront access and pursuing recreational activites. www.mercergov.org/Page.asp?NavID=328

MERCER ISLAND: SOUTH END MERCER ISLAND SCHOOLS The Mercer Island School District is comprised of three elementary schools, one Middle School and one High School. The facilities, curriculum, instruction, and effective use of technology as a tool for learning are all factors in preparing students to think and succeed globally while using technology as an inherent part of everyday life. The district has more teachers with advanced education degrees than any other district in the Seattle area. It is known to be one of the highest assessment test-scoring districts in the State of Washington, and among the top in the nation. www.misd.k12.wa.us/about/
